 In a statement  waza, said more than 52 persons were martyred and 250 others injured in the firing by forces in January 21, 1990, at Gaw Kadal here. “The Gaw Kadal massacre was a well thought out plan to pave way for Kashmiri Pandits’ exodus from Kashmir,” said  waza, urging the international human rights organizations to set up an international independent tribunal to probe the Gawkadal Massacre so that the conspirators be unmasked and punished under the international  humanitarian law. Jammu Kashmir Peoples League said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be taken to its logical conclusion. While speaking in the colloquium senior Hurriyat Leader and  Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that Kashmiri martyrs centre-staged Kashmir dispute at the international level.
