Police cordoned off residence of JKPL Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza 
Srinagar, July 12, 2014
Police raided the residence of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza this evening. Party Spokesman Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi said that police was searching the residence of Waza shab. He condemns harassing of family members and said that Waza shab has gone underground.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza is scheduled to lead a rally from Lal Chowk Islamabad to Reshi Mohala Martyrs graveyard tomorrow on 13 of July.



 Srinagar, July 12: In connection with commemoration of 13 July martyrs, the APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq today convened a seminar titled “13 july 1931- beginning of the chapter of freedom struggle” at hurriyat headquarters located in Rajbagh.

Various participants including hurriyat leaders spoke on the occasion on the given topic.

Moulana Abbas Ansari, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Syed Saleem Geelani Javaid Ahmad Mir, Zaffar Akbar Bhat, Hilal Ahmad war, Shahid Saleem, Ghulam Hassan spoke in detail about the July 13, May 1931 incident.

Senior hurriyat leaders including Prof Abdul Gani Bhat, Moulana Abbas Ansari, Abdul majid Banday, Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam,Imtiyaz Reshi, GN Nagoo, Khaleel Ahmad Khaleel, Abdul Manan Bukhari, Hakim Abdul Rashid, Syed BAshir Andrabi, GN Warand and sofi Mushtaq Ahmad were also present on the occasion

Paying glorious tributes to July 13 martyrs, Mirwaiz stated that the martyrs laid their lives to end the authoritarian rules which was subjecting Kashmiris to interminable sufferings. He said that the struggle started by the martyrs still continues, adding, the struggle would continue till their mission is fulfilled. Despite 83 years of passing this incident, he stated that several such incidents were repeated again and again. Unlike the despotic rulers of 1931, Mirwaiz stated that Kashmiris are being fought by the Indian union on several fronts.

Coming heavily on pro-Indian parties, APHC Chairman stated that those people who claim to be democratic and want to take lead in paying tributes to July 13 martyrs were actually the main culprit who got Kashmir plunged into authoritarian rule after its ancestors successfully fought against the despotic monarchs. He said army and police were masking the democracy in Kashmir and it was by shear use of force that our political social and religious activities were restricted. He said in 1947, India and Pakistan got independence, but independence of Kashmir was usurped.

Mirwaiz stated that Kashmiris were optimistic that new government in India would treat Kashmir as a political and human issue. However, he stated that instead of displaying political maturity, like past, the new dispensation too was treating Kashmir as an economic issue. He stated that truth was that Kashmiris never accepted the Indian suzerainty, adding, they have already rejected the financial and economic grant as a substitute to freedom.



On the occasion, APHC Chairman announced that hurriyat would soon call an intra regional conference during which representatives from all the five regions of jammu and Kashmir would participate to build a consensus and chalk out the future strategy in connection the Kashmir solution.

Mirwaiz also stressed upon the UN and OIC to play their role instead of becoming ally to the western countries. He stated that Palestinians were being bombed by Israleis, but UN was silent. He further stated that situation continues to be worst in Syria, Egypt, Iraq and Palestine, but OIC has not spoken a word.

APHC Chairman said that strike on July 13 would not only be observed to commemorate the July 13 martyrs, but also against the aggression of Israelis against the Palestinians. He stated that Kashmiris would protests against the Israeli Barbarism.

Condemns attacks on Gaza Strip, flays India’s order to closer of UN office

Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza while addressing Friday congregations in Islamabad district of South Kashmir, paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of 13 July 1931, who voiced against the atrocities of the Dugra rule and laid down their lives.
“This day has the significance of marking the beginning of the ongoing freedom struggle. On this day the Kashmiris for the first time raised their voice against the atrocities perpetrated by the Dogra rulers on them and 22 persons offered supreme sacrifices of their life. The ongoing freedom movement is the continuous process of that struggle and it will continue till the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue.” Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said while urging people to observe a complete shutdown on July 13 and make the APHC’s strike call a success.
He said that people of Jammu and Kashmir in general need to observe the day (July 13) as the day of reaffirmation of oath to take martyrs mission to its logical conclusion peacefully.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza also condemned the Israel’s aggression and bombardment on the Gaza Strip which has so far claimed over hundred lives of innocent civilians including kids.
“It is this juncture world community especially the Muslim countries must get united and stand up for the people of Gaza who are being killed.” Waza said, adding they must also stand for the people of the Kashmir who are braving the oppression of India since from last two decades now.
Waza flayed Indian government’s decision of closing the UN office in New Delhi and termed it unrealistic.
He expressed concern over the decision of Indian government and said that Kashmir conflict is acclaimed by United Nations and world community. He said that such tact’s can’t change the disputed nature of Kashmir neither can change the ground realties.
He said that it was very unfortunate that India instead of showing courage to resolve the Kashmir issue, was indulging unrealistic tact’s.
He appealed International community; United Nations to help Kashmiri oppressed people in securing right to self determination.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza was accompanied by Party Senior Ledaers including Nazir Ahmad Khan, Fayaz Ahmad and Shabir Ahmad.

,Srinagar, 6 jul peoples league today organized a fathey khawni on the 18th death anniversary of Mohmmad yousuf Hazari Allies Muzamil a former pl leader at martyrs graveyard , anniversary was attended  JKPL spokesperson  Imtiyaz Reshi, Jaffer Kashmiri, Shabir Ahmad Bhat, Tahoor Ahmad Sidiqi ,Umer Khalid, shadab khan ,besides pl leaders hurriyat leaders chairman PPF Musadiq Aadil, JKLF chairman Javaid Ahmad Mir ,   Aafaq Ahmad Bhat , Nissar Ahmad Lone  and Zahoor Ahmad Kala  leaders has paid rich tributes to the prominent Kashmiri liberation leader, Mohd Muzamil on his 18th martyrdom anniversary. Meanwhile chairman peoples league Mukhtar Waza was on the way to Srinagar but was stopped by police and was not allowed to go to attend the function spokes person jkpl Imtiyaz Reshi has strongly condemned,
During fathey khawani   Mohmmad Musadiq Aadil, Jklf Chairman Javaid Mir,  Imtiyaz Reshi and jaffer kashmiri addressed the function and said Muzamil had rendered his life for a great purpose. They said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would continue till complete success.  Leaders  said India is trying to divert this movement towards religious distributions among the societies in Kashmir but he will never success to distribute kashmiri people on religious bases. 
The APHC leaders  said our moment is logic and based on the principles and biggest advantage the blood of martyrs which has centre staged Kashmir issue at global level on this occasion leaders offered Fateha at the Mazar-e-Shuhada and lauded freedom slogans and reiterated to complete Kashmiri martyrs’ mission.
 Leaders also paid a glowing tribute to Tral Martyr Adil Pathan and said   our martyrs has given sacrifices  for a sacred cause to achieve this goal there will be no compromise despite of all odds .

Sideling Kashmir conflict it can prove disastrous: Mukhtar Waza

Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza Saturday warned that sideling internationally acknowledged Kashmir conflict can prove disastrous for South Asia.
Addressing a meeting of party workers and activists in Kulgam district, Waza said that Kashmir conflict is the world most dangerous issue, as the countries involved in it are nuclear armed and in case they fough any war like they have in past can destabilize and destroy the prevailing peace in whole south Asian region.
Commenting on the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Kashmir visit, Waza said, “Visiting a caged valley talking about development has absolutely no sense.”
“Kashmir is conflict recognized by world community and for its peaceful resolution United Nations has passed several important resolutions besides people of Jammu and Kashmir have given uncounted sacrifices and are laying their precious lives for it.” Waza, adding sideling the core issue and talking about development has no sense.
Warning of disaster if Indian continues its rigid policy, Waza said that Kashmir issue is not the issue of development but it was the issue of right to ‘self determination’ which has been guaranteed to the people of Kashmir by United Nations.
“Non-resolution of Kashmir which is a main reason for the confrontation between India and Pakistan can prove disostrours for both the countries besides for whole south Asian region if the nuclear armed countries confronted each other.” Waza added.
Accompanied by Several party leaders and activists including, Nazir Ahmad Khan, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Abdul Rashid, Ahamd-ul-Allah, Ali Mohd Pandit and Zulfi Masood, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza appeled party activists to strength the party at gross root level and reach out to oppressed people with the party’s aims and objectives.

Thanks people of Kashmir for conveying message to international community by observing complete shutdown on Indian Prime Minister’s visit

Srinagar, July 4: Senior APHC Leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza who continues under house detention since yesterday evening, castigated Indian authorities for imposing curfew and restrictions on the eve of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kashmir.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza in a statement ridiculed Indian Prime Minister Narenrda Modi and said that by imposing curfew, restrictions, detaining youths, pro-freedom leadership and lashing a reign of terror among the civilian populations of Kashmir, he has conveyed the message that India and its military forces will continue to muzzle the genuine freedom struggle of Kashmiris through power and gun.
“Is this the policy of ‘Insanayt’ which Narendra Modi claims to have fallowed of his colleague and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee? This is again a direct message to the oppressed population of Kashmir valley that they will continue to use oppressive tact’s to crush the freedom struggle.” Waza said.
He said that Narendra Mod’s claims of resolving the dispute in the pyramids of ‘Insanayat’ policy stands exposed with the fact that on his very first visit Indian and its troops who are involved in heinous human rights violations lashed a reign of terror and continued its oppressive and suppressive policy.
Thanking People of Kashmir for observing a complete shutdown, Waza said that yet again oppressed Kashmiris conveyed their peaceful political message to international community besides visiting Indian Prime Minister and both must take a strong note of it.
“Complete shutdown on the eve of Indian Prime Minister’s visit is peaceful political message to the world community and to the India. Observing shutdown is clear cut message to India that they we have not accepted their illegal occupation, therefore wasting money, time and energy India must took bold steps for the early resolution of Kashmir issue besides international community too should take a strong note of the feelings and aspirations of oppressed Kashmiri people which they are expressing by observing shutdowns and sacrificing their lives.” He said.
He requested international community to help in the final peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue for establishing peace and prosperity in whole south Asian region.
