not allowed to attend funeral prayers of Saheed Mudasir Ahmah

Srinagar, March 04: Jammu and Kashmir people’s league Chairman Mukhtar
Ahmad Waza who is also the executive member of Hurriyat Conference (M)
was not allowed today by the district Islamabad authorities to attend
the funeral prayers of Shaheed Mudasir Ahmad Malla who was reportedly
killed in Hyderabad.
Party spokesperson castigated the state government and authorities for
restraining the party chairman, keeping him under house arrest from
last 24days and not allowing him to attend the funeral prayers of the
shaheed Mudasir Ahmad.
While paying to glowing tributes to Shaheed Mudasir Ahmad party
chairman has said that the Indian authorities are deliberately and
intentionally targeting the think tanks of Kashmir right from 1947 and
have killed our scholars and intelligentsia during which they have
killed hundreds of doctors advocates, and scholars like Mudasi Ahmad
besides common people have faced inhuman face of India like they faced
during the colonial rule in their country. He said that they targeting
the pro-freedom intelligentsia with an aim to suppress the ongoing
movement but they will not get any success as the valley is giving
birth to bright and pro-freedom children.
He expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and said that Shaheed
Mudasir Ahmad is a great loss to Kashmir as being a pious Muslim and
well educated he was expected to be well wisher of humanity.
He said that the every kashmiri is peaceful and is respecting the
humanity of the world and have proved it from time to time as no one
can change the history and the world community unfortunately is using
double standards while dealing with Kashmir issue that is lingering
from past decades due which Kashmiri innocent people have suffered a
lot.
Meanwhile on the directions of Party chairman, Senior leader Zulfikar
Ahmad along with party activists visited Parigam Puplwama and attended
the funeral paryers of Shaheed Mudasir Ahmad.
