World powers should understand sensitiveness of Kashmir Issue: Waza

Srinagar, March 26: Hurriyat executive member and Jammu and Kashmir
people’s League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today said that world
powers should understand the sensitiveness of internationally accepted
Kashmir issue for the betterment of whole south Asian region as the
issue has became nuclear flash point in the sub-continent and have
endangered the peaceful atmosphere of the region.
Waza in a statement today said that Kashmir issue is a political issue
and needs to be resolved as per the aspirations of people of the state
that will definitely prove fruitful for the whole south Asian region
and said that the permanent solution of issue can bring peace and
prosperity of in the region. He said that Kashmir is 461 years old
dispute and the alienation prevailing among the valley towards rulers
will be vanished once the Kashmir issue gets resolved according the
wishes and aspirations of people for which international community has
to play a vital role like there playing in resolving other age old
conflicts of the world.
Waza said that the devastating internal and external dimensions of
ages old Kashmir conflict could be controlled only after the two
nuclear countries along with the world community could understand the
sensitiveness of the issue. He said that the statesmanship of the
south Asian region should come forward for the resolution of Kashmir
issue that will bring stability in the world.
Waza denounced the repressive tact’s of Indian authorities in curbing
the freedom struggle of Kashmiri people who from last year’s are
continuously laying their lives just to secure the long pending demand
of ‘right to self determination’. He said that this repressive tact’s
cannot curb the love for freedom and the people will continue their
struggle by peaceful means, however the continuation of struggle can
out break nuclear was in the region as the nuclear powers
countries-India, Pakistan and China- is involved in the Kashmir issue.
Waza said that the region of terror that the valley is witnessing
after the execution of Shaheed Mohd Afzal Guru has shrinked peace
minded valley youth that is concern for the country that claims be the
largest democracy in the world. He appealed international
organizations to visit the valley for taking serious notice of the
situation via-z-via human rights violations that Indian security
forces have and are commenting in the valley. He said that India
cannot occupy the state now for a longer period as the anti-Indian
sentiment is getting momentum in the state especially among the valley
youth.
