Srinagar, November 07, 2012: Senior Hurriyat leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad waza today hoped that President Barack Obama, who today got its second chance by winning the presidential election in America, may play his important role in settling the 65 years old Kashmir dispute according to Wishes and aspirations of Kashmiri people.

Mukhtar waza in a Press Statement hoped that President Barack Obama’s intervention in the Kashmir dispute can prove fruitful for the political and economical stability of South Asia as well as for whole world.

Waza said, “Kashmir being a issue between three nuclear powers of the world i,e India, Pakistan and China has endangered the peaceful atmosphere in South Asian region. On Kashmir issue trio countries have fought several wars resulted bloodshed and wastage of money etc.”

He said that world P5 powers like, America, Russia, France, China and Bartania, G8 and others are well known about the fact the India has illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and to got freedom from Indian bondage Kashmiri innocent people are fighting peacefully from last 65 years.

He said that the during this period of time Indian and its security forces got involved in serious and worst kind of Human rights violations and people of Kashmir was subjected to worst kind of torchers that led to custodial killings, rapes and molestation,  brutal killings, hundreds and thousands  of people were killed by security agencies on the name counter insurgency, one generation of the Kashmir got affected by one or the other means due to the illegal occupation of India and the last 65 years have left thousands kids as orphans and more than that women as widow.

He expressed concern over the fact that the international community is only concerned about the economic interests in the world than humanity. He appealed international community to sideline the economic interests and gave priority to those issues who are connected with Humanity and said that Kashmir dispute important humanitarian Issue that needs intervention of international community.

He also appealed civil intelligentsia of India and Pakistan to come forward and play its role in resolving the dispute so that peace prevails in both countries as well as in whole South Asian region. He maintained that the civil intelligentsia of both the countries can draw a peaceful line by which Kashmir Issue can be resolved.

Srinagar, Nov 05: Jammu Kashmir Peoples League today paid glowing
tributes to Jammu martyrs, who were who were massacred on November 6,
1947 by Dogra ruler in Jammu.

Party Chairman, Mukhtar Waza in a press statement issue from its party
headquarter , has paid glowing tributes to the great sacrifice of
Jammu martyrs who were massacred on November 6, 1947  Dogra ruler of
Jammu and Kashmir and said that people of illegally occupied state
can’t forget the scarifies rendered by Jammu Muslims for the peaceful
resolution of Kashmir issue.
Waza termed the killing of Muslims of Jammu as a darkest chapter of
Kashmir’s history and reiterated to continue their mission till its
logical conclusion, despite all odds. He said that people the from
past 65 years have rendered uncounted scarifies for the peaceful
resolution of Kashmir Issue, that has endangered the peaceful
atmosphere in South Asian Region and said that we will not allow
anybody to waste the hot blood drops of our youngsters who have
scarified their precious lives for securing right to self
determination.

Waza has appealed the World powers to put pressure on New Delhi   to
resolve the longstanding Kashmir dispute according to the wishes of
Kashmiri people.

Waza maintained that India was committing worst kind of human rights
violations in Kashmir to suppress the Kashmiris just struggle for
securing right to self-determination. He urged India to settle the
lingering dispute sooner as the resolution of the longstanding dispute
was vital to the peace and stability in South Asian region.

Srinagar, Nov 02: Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman and Executive Member of APHC, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today said that instead of spending money on defense, govermnet of Indian should repeal all black laws that would pave a way forward for the resolution of Kashmir issue.

While addressing Friday congregation in Masjid Shahi Hamdan, Daripora  Pulwama, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza along with his party leaders imtiyaz reshi, mohd maqbool sofi parveiz ah dar and zulkarnian, waza said that the both the nuclear countries are spending a huge amount of money on defense while as on the other side people residing in both of the countries are lacking basic amenities of life.

He appealed both the countries to start a result oriented dialogue process with the inclusion of Kashmiri people and resolve the Kashmir issue. However he maintained that government of India should firstly demilitarize Kashmir, revoke black laws, release all political detainees detained in different jails that would pave a way towards the resolution of Kashmir issue.  He said that before the dialogue process.

He condemned the desecration of Quran Sharief in Chenab valley and communal tension in zanskar and said that such acts were being done with an aim to divert the attention of people from Kashmir issue. He said that such spineless, un-Islamic and inhuman acts could not muzzle the voice of people nor could divert the attention of people from Kashmir issue.

He said that Jammu Kashmir Peoples League and Kashmiri leadership will continue its liberation struggle with much intensity and will continue efforts to settle the Kashmir dispute amicably through talks, for which we have given unparallel scarifies.

 Waza reiterated that the Kashmir dispute could only be settled through talks among Pakistan, India and the Kashmiri leadership. Waza maintained that pro-liberation leadership and the people of Kashmir with their unity and political vision would defeat the conspiracies of anti-Kashmir, anti-movement and anti-people elements.

Expressing satisfaction over the realization of the international community that the Kashmir dispute needs to be resolved , Waza said “The settlement of the Kashmir dispute is imperative not only for South Asia but also for the world peace,” Mukhtar said, adding that the international human rights organizations are urged to send their representatives to Kashmir in order to take cognizance of the miserable plight of Kashmiri detainees languishing in different jails and interrogation centers, unmarked graves, extra-judicial killings, tortures, rapes and thefts and demanded them to pressurize India for the release of detainees.

Waza condemns desecration Quran in Chenab valley
Srinagar, Oct 31: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League today strongly condemned the desecration of the Holy Quran in Chenab valley by some miscreants and cautioned people to remain vigilant against communal violence.
In a statement issued, Party Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today while expressing deep anguish and concern over the violence against minority Muslim community in Zanaskar and the desecration of the Holy Quran by some miscreants in Chenab Valley said that the some elements are trying to create communal tension in the valley that can’t be tolerated at all.
He said that local administration should effectively act in this regard and tension creators should be dealt accordingly in the both regions of the Jammu and Kashmir because in both areas Muslims are in minority and to protect them should be administration’s first priority.
He said that policies against Islam are being hatched continuously on international, national and now in our own state with an aim to prov
ocate Muslim Ummah, but these forces had utterly failed to promote apostasy on mass-level in the Muslim Community.

 Senior Hurriyat Leader and  Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza addresses Eid-ul-Azha congregation at Kadipora Islamabad Jamia Masjid. While addressing the congregation Waza felicitates Muslim brethren on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr and urged people of Kashmir to observe this carnival with extreme austerity. Waza has urged people to pray for the elevation-status of Kashmiri martyrs.
Mukhtar Waza maintained that unfortunately, the people of Jammu and Kashmir were still kept deprived of right to self-determination and the promises made with them at international level were not fulfilled.  . “The  authorities can not suppress the Kashmiris’ liberation struggle through use of brute force,” he added. Waza said that the acts of Indian state terrorism perpetrated against innocent Kashmiris were aimed at silencing their just voice for right to self-determination, but the people of Jammu and Kashmir will continue their struggle for securing right to self-determination till its logical end.
Mukhtar Waza also urged the pro-freedom leaders to forge greater unity among their ranks to take the ongoing movement to its logical end.

He appealed the world community to put pressure onIndia to implement the UN resolutions on Kashmir so that the dispute could amicably be resolved. He said that Pakistan had been taking sincere and serious steps for the settlement of the conflict, however, he deplored that the rigid stance of New Delhi towards the dispute was the main hurdle in its peaceful solution.

Stressing the need for resolution of theKashmir dispute through meaningful dialogue, the speakers said that the fundamental party of the dispute, the true leadership of Kashmiri people should also be included in the talks. Peoples League paid a glowing tribute on 19th Martyrdom Anniversary of two brothers shaheed Nazir Ahmad Dar and Hillal Ahmad Dar of Soura Awantabhawan, Mukhtar Ah Waza.

  "Kashmir is the core issue between the two nuclear powers of the region. If the issue is not included in the agenda and there is no positive headway for its resolution, the talks are bound to fail," Waza alleged.

 “Right from 1947,India has been trying to suppress the voice of Kashmiris by force. But neither they succeeded in the past, nor they would in future,” he added. Waza warned that New Delhi was pushing Kashmiris towards violent revolution. “Off late instead of making the atmosphere conducive for talks, troops have let loose a reign of terror across the State. If immediate measures are not taken by the government of india, we can see resurgence of violence in Kashmir. It will be more violent and aggressive than we have seen in the past,” he said. Reiterating his demand for demilitarization, Waza said, “Immediate and complete cessation of military and Para-military actions against the civilian population in Jammu Kashmir, withdrawal of military presence from the towns and villages, dismantling of bunkers, watchtowers and barricades, release of political prisoners and annulment of draconian laws are must for the protection of life and property of people.”Meanwhile A delegation of Peoples League visited the House of Shaheed Nazir Ah Dar and Hillal AH Dar, for paying tribute and fathe khawani by the advice of pl  Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, delegation includes Imtiyaz Reshi, AjAZ Ahmad Wani,Affaq Ahmad Bhat Nazir Ahmad Munshi AND Gh Jeelani.
