Srinagar, January 28: Senior hurriyat leader Jammu and Kashmir
People’s league, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on Monday criticised government
of India for making dialogue offers and said that for meaning full
talks they should withdraw forces from Kashmir and also should revoke
black laws from the state.
Addressing a daylong party meeting of party activists and workers in
Pulwama district, Waza briefed party workers and activists about the
current international political situation with revelance to Kashmir
issue and said that the international community has accepted Kashmir
as nuclear flash point in south Asian region that can in sudden change
and disrupt the peace as well other dynamics of the south Asia. He
said that for everlasting peace in south Asian sub continent
international community has build an opinion that emphasis the
resolution of Kashmir issue according to the aspiration of Kashmiri
people.
While criticizing government of Indian for making illogical dialogue
offers to Kashmiri leaders representing aspirations of Kashmiri people
he said, “If government of Indian really wants to talk with hurriyat
for Kashmir resolution then they have to make appropriate atmosphere
for it.” Adding People’s League, as a constituent of Hurriyat
conference has always welcomed offers made by the government of Indian
but for result oriented dialogue India has to withdraw forces from
Kashmir as well as they have to revoke all black laws including AFSPA
and DAA.
He said that Hurriyat conference has for ever made its stance clear
and have put forward 5 points that India should accept before holding
talks with hurriyat. He said for the resolution of Kashmir issue
Kashmiri have always laid down their lives and have given unparallel
scarifies and just for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue
Kashmiris will continue to fight against all odds.
Waza was detained by Pulwama police along with other leaders
including, Mohmad Moaqbool Sofi, Zahoor Ahmad Sheikh and Imtiyaz Ahmad
Reshi. People’s league spokesperson has condemned that police action.
