Waza concerned over growing social evils, moral degradation and wavedness

Srinagar, Jan.  04/01/2013: Executive Member of Hurriyat Conference (M)
and Chairman Jammu Kashmir people’s league, Mukthar Waza Today
expressed concern over the growing social evils and moral degradation
in the society and urged upon the people particularly parents to help
in checking the menace.
While attending the nimaz jumah at selegom ashimuqam Islamabad jamia masjid speaking to prayers waza said Waza Said, “The
moral degradation among the youth is one of the biggest challenges
which society is facing. Instead of blaming the western countries, we
need to do self-introspection and join hands and take measures for
checking the menace.”

In the statement issued from Srinagar waza said that social evils like
drug addiction are rising on alarming rate that could harm the society
in whole but Kashmir cause in particular.
“For a single benefit we are destroying whole society, crores of
rupees are being spent on drugs and by this we are destroying our own
economy as well as our future of children.” Adding that parents
especially religious scholars should come forward and educate the
youth about the abuses of drugs so that we can secure the future of
our children.
Waza condemns the recent action done by some criminals at parayporah on a lady it is the worst kind oif action we strongly condemns such acts done by youths it is totally anti Islamic act we demand to punish such elements it is better to hang them,
 speaking on Kashmir issue He said that for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue a healthy
and socially and morally strong society is much more needed.
Further, he maintained that Kashmir is Political issue and should be
resolved immediately on humanitarian grounds. He appealed concern
world organization to take bold steps for the peaceful resolution of
Kashmir issue moreover they should stress upon India to stop human
rights violation in Kashmir.
He said people should be given their birth right ‘right to
self-determination’ for the solution of Kashmir issue
