Waza, Mir and reshi
paid tributes to martyred youth of
Charsoo Pulwama
Srinagar, Feb 04:
Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir people’s League Chairman,
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and JKLF Chairman Javed Ahmad Mir, today along party senior
leaders including Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Er Fayaz Ahmad,
Maqbool Darsari, Showket Dar, and others visited the family of martyred youth
Aijaz Ahmad, who was martyred by Indian troops a few days ago in Pulwama.
Leaders paid glowing tributes to the youth along with the
martyrs of Kashmir who since 1947 laid down sacrifices for the peaceful
resolution of decades old Kashmir issue as for getting the rid from illegal
occupation of India.
They expressed sympathy and solidarity with the family of martyr
Aijaz Ahmad and pledged that pro-freedom leadership of Jammu and Kashmir will
not allow any body to waste the sacrifices of great martyrs and maintained that
martyr’s mission will be taken to its logical conclusion.
Addressing a get together of the people, Waza said that
international dimensions of global politics are fasting changing and hence it
is imperative for South Asian countries to resolve the Kashmir conflict
according to aspirations and wishes of Kashmiri people for guaranteeing peace
and stability in the region.
“India can’t any longer, keep this issue unresolved as the peace
and prosperity of whole South Asian region especially of India and Pakistan is
directly linked with Kashmir Conflict.” Waza said.
He said the Kashmiri people are peaceful but at the same time
can’t accept the slavery, hence Indian intelligentsia, Political leaders and
other who are running the affairs of country must learn from the history that
people of Jammu and Kashmir-freedom loving population, will continue to fight
against India’s illegal occupation politically till they get freedom from the
Indian bondage.
He said that despite worst kind of oppression by the Indian
troops on the people of Kashmir, people here haven’t shun the freedom struggle,
which itself is evidence of the fact that Kashmiri people will continue their
fight politically till they get their birth right ‘right to self determination.
Liberation Front Chairman, Javed Ahmad Mir addressing the
gathering appealed people not to get befooled by the hallow slogans of main
stream politicians and maintain a distance from them as they are making and
have made policies ever since against the pro-freedom leadership.
He said that Kashmiri youths have given sacrifices for the
resolution of Kashmir issue and it is high time for international community to
fulfill its responsibility.
