JKPL Delegation visited Dargha Hazratbal colony, expressed
solidarity with fire victims

Fallowing the directions of Jammu
and Kashmir people’s league, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza a party delegation compermised
with general sectary Gulam Qadir Rah, spokesperson imtiyaz
Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, chief coordinator Gulam Ahmad Mir, Yousuf Captain, and head of public affairs Rashid Wani,,today
visited fire victim families at Dargha Colony in Srinagar and expressed
sympathy and solidarity with the 55 affected families.
During their visit affected families
temporary residing in a government run school narrated their ordeals with the
delegation. Party Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza also interacted with the
families over telephone and expressed solidarity and sympathy.
Families told delegation comprising
Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Gulam Ahmad Mir, Yousuf Captain, Rashid Wani, +that
so-called government has dropped 19 families among the 53 fire victim families
and they were deprived of any kind of help from the government. Delegation was
informed by Zareena Begum Wife of Shaheed Gulam Ahmad Dar who was martyted by Indian
troops in 1993 that she has been also dropped from the list and hence the
government whom they pay tax didn’t provided any kind of assistance
to them.
Affected families told delegation
that in the school building they haven’t been provided basic facilities of life
like water, electricity and other essentials.
