Waza addressed Rasmi Chaharum gathering of deceased party activist in Islamabad

Srinagar, January 18:

Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s league, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today addressed Rasmi Chaharum gathering of deceased party activist Abdul Rashid Khan, who passed away before few days. Senior party leaders and activists including, Mohd Aashraf Sofi, Ghulam Qadir Rah, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Nazir Ahmad Khan, Jaffer Kashmiri and several others attended the mourning function of deceased party activist who had been a victim of India’s oppression and spend his precious years of age in jail along with his brother Nazir Ahmad Khan.

Addressing the gathering waza paid rich tributes to deceased activist and said party will continue to remember him for his role that he played in the ongoing freedom struggle.

“Everyone has to leave this cosmetic and materialistic world but on each passing day a dead body leaves a lesson for us which we need to implement in our lives. Today our party activist isn’t with us but the role he played during his life time will force us and our nation to remember along with martyrs of Kashmir.” Waza said.

He said that India’s ongoing oppression aimed to curb the freedom struggle of Kashmiri people hasn’t only affected a particular class each and every single person of this nation have got effected and continues to effect by worst ever kind of oppression which India is perpetrating here in Kashmir through his over eight lakh deployed troops.

Waza said people of Jammu and Kashmir have given sacrifices for a particular cause and we will continue till we get freedom from Indian bondage. He appealed both the countries to come down at a consensus and by involving the Kashmiri into talks, resolve the dispute which guarantees peace and prosperity of whole south Asian region.
