Peoples League leader Mukhtar waza left for delhi to attend Pakistan day Invited By Pakistan High Commissioner on Pakistan Day Celebrations


A high profile delegation of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League lead by Senior Hurriyat Leader Mukhtar Ahmad Waza along with Secretary General Mohammad Ashraf Vaid  and spokesman pl imtiyaz reshi left for New Delhi to attend Pakistan Day celebrations and will met with Pakistan High Commissioner,  
Peoples League during their meeting with Pakistani High Commissioner will discuss the present political and human rights situation in Kashmir.
Mukhtar Waza expresses confidence that Pakistan will continue its political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris’ just struggle for right to self-determination.
Mukhtar Waza emphasized that the government of Pakistan was of the firm opinion that peace and stability would elude South Asia till the Kashmir issue remained unresolved.
Waza pointed out that Pakistan had a historical and unique role vis-à-vis the Kashmir dispute and the country had been extending wholehearted political, diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmiris’ struggle for their right of self-determination.

Kashmir solution feasible through tripartite talks: jkpl spokesman imtiyaz reshi

An extra-ordinary meeting of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League was convened at its central office Srinagar which was chaired  senior Hurriyat Leader and  aphc excutive member Mukhtar Waza and meeting was attented by its gernal sectary Mohd Asraf vaid ,spokesman imtiyaz reshi district president srinagar Gulazar ah Katju, Hji Qadoos, shakeel Munawer , Rouf Kashmiri and others . While addressing the get-together meeting  Mukhtar waza said that a just solution to the Kashmir dispute can be brought about through meaningful tripartite talks, participate by Pakistan, India and Kashmiris, history has proved that the dispute over Kashmir cannot be resolved through bilateral negotiations. waza reiterated that Kashmir was a political issue, which needed to be resolved through peaceful political means.  Waza maintained that India would never succeed in suppressing the voice of Kashmiris through use of brute force and added “International opinion was in favour of the solution of Kashmir and we should not miss the opportunity”,  waza said.
 waza  urges the pro-freedom leaders to keep unity among their ranks and should chalk out a joint strategy for a lasting solution to the dispute. He demands withdrawal of Indian troops from town and villages, release of all prisoners and repeal of all draconian laws and build LOC irrelevant.
He appealed to the global supremacies to use their moral and political influence to help resume the peace process for a just and honorable settlement of the Kashmir dispute once for all.spokesman pl imtiyaz reshi

Sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs not to go waste: JKPL


Srinagar, Mar. 15: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, has said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will not be allowed to go waste and their mission will be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs.

The JKPL leader, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza, who visited the house Shaheed Bashir Ahmad Mir along with part Gen Sectary, Mohd Ashraf  paid glowing tributes to Shaeed Bashir Ahmad, Sajad Ahmad Mir, Shaeed Mohd Hussain Mir and their mother (Fatmia) who passed away this morning at her residence in Janglat Mandi Islamabad.
Waza expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Fatmia, a pious and well know women in the area, who gave her three children to Kashmir cause
Her three children were martyred by Indian troops in 1996 in separate encounters.

Mukhtar Waza said that the sacrifices of martyrs had centre-staged the Kashmir dispute at the international level. He deplored that India was victimizing the Kashmiri people for demanding their inalienable right to self–determination. He said that Kashmiris’ liberation struggle was genuine and based on the principles of justice.
 He said that scarifies made by our mothers and sisters like Fatima will not be allowed to go waste.

Kashmir has became an exhibition of human rights violations spokesman pl

Srinagar, Mar 13: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Senior leader,
Mukthar Ahmad Waza has expressed shock and grief over the death of
youth in Islamabad town of South Kashmir. The 15 year old youth Yasir
Ahmed, son of Mohammad Ayun, resident of Anchidora, Islamabad was run
over by an army vehicle near Bus Stand.
Waza who visited the family today expressed his heartfelt condolences
to the bereaved family.
 He said that the Indian armed forces are continuously committing
human rights violations in Kashmir from last 63 years.
“Killing common Kashmiri has became a habit of Indian Army and on
daily routine people are being killed in fake encounters,
interrogation centers, road accidents etc.” adding that forces also
involved in rape, molestalations and other criminal cases in Kashmir
that have not been probed by any agency till  time.
 He said that the Kashmir has became an exhibition of human rights
violations, done by the Indian army were one can see every kind
brutalities faced by the Innocent Kashmiri  people.
 He appealed international community including human rights watch to
take a serious notice of the situation prevailing in Kashmir and of
the violations took place from last 63 years.
 He maintained that the Kashmir issue is the main issue of South Asia
and its resolution of the issue is need of the hour and peace in south

Srinagar, March, 09, 2012:

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Sheikh Mohd Yaqoob has said
that the Kashmiri women had been the main victims of Indian state
terrorism in Kashmir for the last 63 years and their sacrifices for
the Kashmir cause were unforgettable.

While presenting a paper presentation in Geneva, Sheikh Mohd Yaqoob
said that the Indian troops have committed a large number of Human
Rights violations and is continuously committing and particularly
Kashmiri women was worst hit by the violations.

He said that Kashmiri women were not only abused by the troops but
were kept in integration centers and torched physically, mentally and
physiologically that those incidents were internationally reorganized
and also probed and proved by the several international organization.

He said that the scarifies given by the Kashmiri women from last 63
years are unforgettable.

He appealed international community to take a serious note of Human
Rights violations committed by the troops in the occupied State.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, General Sectary, Mohd
Ashraf Vaid while interacting with party workers said that party has
always worked for the aspirations of the Innocent Kashmir people and
have also made lot of scarifies for the same cause.

He stressed upon party workers to work within the party limits and

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, pays glowing tributes to  sameer ahmad zindan on his 14th martyrdom anniversary, has said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will not be allowed to go waste and their mission will be accomplished at all costs.
A Thread bare discussion of pl at srinagar soura was managed  and was chaired by its spokesman imtiyaz reshi and attentad by senion pl srinagar central cousell members and district leaders which include Gulzar ah Katju, shakeel munwer, mohd yousuf captain, Irshad ahmad, ingner Nissar ah mir ,Dr Manzoor ah Dar, Mohd Iqbal Dar, umer Khalid AND Rouf Kasmiri and senior pl leader Nazir ahmad Munshi.
 Sameer Ahmad  was arrested by the Indian  STF and killed in custody on this day in  1998  at busporah soura area.
 
Speaking in the meeting,  Reshi  said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs had centre-staged the Kashmir dispute at the international level. He reiterated the pledge to continue the liberation struggle, despite all odds. The APHC leader urged India to eschew its stubbornness and take steps to settle the lingering dispute. He said that New Delhi had failed to suppress the voice of Kashmiris by force since 1947. Resolve Kashmir issuve for peace and stability is South Asia


Srinagar, Mar. 06: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Leader, Mukhtar
Ahmad Waza has expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of
Tanveer Ahmad Kanwals’s Mother. Hurriyat  leader along with his party
activists, Haji Qadoos, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, Shabir Ahmad, Tariq Ahmad
visited the house of Tanveer Ahmad at Krangsoo and expressed
sympathies with the breaved family.
Meanwhile, JKPL Leader has said that the Kashmir Issue is the core
issue of South Asia and should be resolved very soon as the  permanent
peace in South Asia is not possible without resolving the Kashmir
dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.

People of Jammu Kashmir are principle stake holders in the dispute and
any settlement of the dispute on Jammu Kashmir should satisfy the
aspirations of the people,’ Waza said.

“Peaceful resolution of the dispute of Jammu Kashmir is in the
interests of enduring regional peace and stability in south Asia
besides in the interests of economic development in the region,’ he
said.
He stressed upon India and Pakistan to start a meaningful dialogue
process, as the dialogue process in the way by which Kashmir issue
could be resolved. He said that by this issue kashmiri people are

Srinagar, Mar.02, 2012: Jammu Kashmir Peoples League leader and
Executive member of Hurriyat Conference (M), Mukthar Ahamad Waza has
said that the Kashmir iisue has became a flash point south aisa, whose
immediate resolution is much more needed for the peace and stability
in south Asia.
After Friday prayers, addressing a large gathering at Akura Mattan,
waza said that the India should show seriousness in resolving the
Kashmir Issue that has gained centrality in world becomes of the
scarifies paid by the common kashmiri leadership and Hurriyat
leadership in the valley  from last 64 years.
“intellectual community of the whole world have accepted that by
resolving the Kashmir issue, peace and stability cab be brought in the
south Asia and now it is the turn of India to show the seriousness in
resolving the issue.” Waza said,
He said that the newly announced dialogue process between India and
Pakistan is a good step for the resolution of Kashmir issue, however
said that the dialogue process will not became a successful process
without the inclusion of Kashmiri people.
He demanded that the genuine leadership of Kashmir must be included in
the dialogue process.
He condemned the on going human right violations in the valley and
appealed international community, Amnesty International, and Human
rights watch to take a serious note of the human rights violations
