Waza condemns use of brute force on peaceful protesters in Aharbal
“Disturbance to sensitive environment of Kashmir intolerable” Waza

Srinagar, July 31, 2014
Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today strongly condemned use of excessive force on peaceful protesters in Aharbal Kulgam during which several sustained injuries. Waza expressed sympathy with the injured and prayed for their early recovery.
Meanwhile while chairing meeting of party leaders and activists in Khudwani area of Kulgam district, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that under well planned strategy Ecology, Environment, Natural resources are being target to disrupt the sensitive environment of the state besides economy.
He said that the virgin places of Kashmir sourcing main component of economy must be left out of human intervention to maintain the balance of fragile and sensitive environment. He said that the human intervention at Kousarnag can cause disaster and can devoid the local populace of all three main south Kashmir districts from fresh drinking water.
Waza termed it deep conspiracy against the majority people of Kashmir. he said that giving tourism a religious colour is aimed at grabbing the lands in Kashmir so that Kashmiri Muslims are evicted from their motherland as Israel did with Palestinians.
Waza said that Indian forces are busy in grabbing our lands since decades together and now in order to give it a pace, Indian political leadership has taken the religious route.
He appealed international forums working on environment issues to take a serious note of disturbance being cause to the environment of Kashmir.

Imtiyaz Reshi Arrested in Nehru park Party condens.
Senior APHC leader and spokesperson JKPL Imtitiyaz Reshi arrested at Nehrupark when he addressed people from different shades expressed concern over the Wavedness and moral degradation 
in the society and urged upon the people particularly parents to help
in checking the menace.

speaking to people Imtiyaz Reshi Said, “The moral degradation among the youth is one of the biggest
challenges which society is facing. Instead of blaming the western
countries, we need to do self-introspection and join hands and take
measures for checking the menace,” Reshi said

.He said that social evils
like drug addiction are rising on alarming rate that could harm the
society in whole but Kashmir cause in particular.
“For a single benefit we are destroying whole society, crores of
rupees are being spent on drugs and by this we are destroying our own
economy as well as our future of children.” Adding that parents
especially religious scholars should come forward and educate the
youth about the abuses of drugs so that we can secure the future of
our children.
He said that unfortunately school going children are being engaged in
chars extraction in some areas

He appealed the parents, senior citizens and especially religious
scholars to come forward and halt the social evils vis-à-vis moral
degradation and Wavedness in Girls said Kashmir is heaven and beauty and beauty is brain and brain is youth and this Manshiyaat is trying to kill the ability of our youths we have save the future of our youths.Because youths are our tomorrow.
Meanwhile party General Sectary Gulam Qadir Rah Has strongly condemned the arrest of party spokesperson Imtiyaz Reshi and termed it as the worst kind of state terrorism.

Hundreds of youths participated in the protest demonstration and raised high pitched pro-Islam, Pro-Freedom and Pro-Gaza slogans and expressed their sympathy with the oppressed Palestinians. Protest demonstration started from Ashajipora but on reaching to Lal Chowk Indian security forces used brute force, fired tear smoke shells to quell the peaceful protesters.

Waza appeals people to observe Eid with simplicity, boycott India puppets
Pray for the Freedom of Kashmir and Palestine

Senior APHC Leader and Jammu Kashmir peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar
Ahmad Waza has appealed to the people to observe austerity and
simplicity while celebrating the Eid-ul-Fitr and not to forget the
families of martyrs and detainees.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that Indian armed forces have martyred lakhs
of people, thousands subjected to enforced disappearance, thousands
rendered orphans, thousands of women rendered widows and the property
worth thousands of crores was destroyed since last over seven decades
now for pursuing the struggle for freedom. Besides, hundreds of people
are still languishing in jails in and outside Kashmir, so nation must
not to forget the atrocities of Indian armed forces and should pledge
to continue the ongoing freedom struggle.
He appealed people to observe Eidul Fitr with simplicity to express
solidarity with the families of victims of Indian and Israeli military
oppression and aggression in Kashmir and Gaza respectively. He urged
the people to pray for the high status to ‘Shuhada-e-Kashmir’ Kashmir
martyrs who laid down their lives for the peaceful ongoing freedom
struggle and for an end to India’s illegal occupation.
“The real Eid would be on the day when the oppressed will meet their
fate and rights of the oppressed the world over including Kashmir and
Palestine, are realized and the flag of Islam flutter high through the
world.” Waza said.
He also appealed people to boycott the main stream New Delhi puppets
who are working as collaborators for India and Indian military forces
to crush the ongoing freedom struggle. “People must recognize the
reality and should boycott these main stream politicians whose hands
are colored with the blood of innocent Kashmiris.” Waza said, adding
main stream politicians were working in the interests of New Delhi and
are strengthening the India’s illegal occupation over Kashmir.
Waza said that people of Kashmir who laid down their lives for the
peaceful resolution of Kashmir must maintain a distance with the
so-called main stream politicians and should extend their support for
the ongoing freedom struggle for pursing the cherished goal of
Freedom.
Waza also appealed to the Ulema and Imams of all Masjids to organize
special prayers for the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine besides
prayers for prosperity of Muslim Umah and global peace.

RESHI JAFFER LED A PROCESSION AT JINAB SHAB SOURA.
Srinagar, Jul 26: Today a procession was taken out from Jinab Sahib Soura in solidarity with the people of Palestine and against the Israel’s aggression on the innocent people of Gaza Strip. The procession was led by Peoples League Spokesman Imtiyaz Reshi and and senior leader Jaffar Kashmiri. The leaders on the occasion stressed upon the world organizations to break the Criminal silence over the Israel’s brutality over the innocent people of Gaza. They said that since Kashmiries are themselves victims of oppressor therefore we can exactly understand the pain of the people of Palestine.
They said the people behind bars are normally being released during an auspicious days, but the Omar led so called government is following a different approach and is again using force, its favorite tool, to make its presence felt on the ground.
Amid Pro Palestine and Anti Israel slogans, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi while paying tributes to the Martyrs of Gaza and Kashmir said that the blood presented by the people of these territories will bear the fruits. He said that since 1931 lakhs of Kashmiries devoted their lives for the Kashmir cause, he urged the people not to forget the supreme sacrifice of the martyrs, recalling the sacrifice of Peoples League former chairman Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz also presented his precious life for the supreme cause i.e. Right to Self Determination. He said that Sheikh Abdul Aziz’s martyrdom on 11 August turned a new era in the Kashmir Resistance Movement which led the martyrdom of almost 80 youth in the year 2008.
Imtiyaz Reshi on the occasion said an important meeting of the Peoples League with its chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on chair will be held on 03 August in view to issue a calendar of martyrdom week.

Waza arrested, not allowed to visit the family of Injured at Kokernag

Police on Thursday arrested Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, when he along with party senior leader Nazir Ahmad
Khan was on way to Dahruna Wantpora Kokernag to express the sympathy
with the family of Ahsan-ul-Haq who was injured by armed forces a few
days ago when he is playing football in the evening.
Party spokesman Imtiyaz Reshi condemned police action and said that heavy contingent
of police arrested Mukhtar Ahmad Waza at Dialgam. He said that Party
chairman along senior vice chairman, Nazir Ahmad Khan was scheduled to
visit the family of 14 years old Ahsan-ul-Haq at Dahruna Wantpora who
received bullet injuries, when frustrated Indian armed forces fired
upon him when he was playing football. He said that Waza Shab shifted
to Police Station Sherbagh later.
Spokesman said that it has the height of Indian army’s oppression that
the Kashmiri kids were not even being allowed to play games. “When the
people of Kashmir flooded streets to protest the Israeli aggression in
Gaza, the Indian armed forces got frustrated and tried to muzzle the
aspirations of people by showering bullets on peaceful protesters.” He
said, adding on the directions of Israel, India and its armed forces
were violating the human rights of the people by resorting innocent
killings of men, women and children.
“What Gaza is witnessing today, Kashmir is witnessing it since from
past over six decades.” Spokesman said, while urging international
community to pressurize India and Israel for oppressing the innocent
people demanding their genuine rights.

Urging people of Jammu and Kashmir to observe Jummat ul Vida as ‘Youm-e-Quds’, Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today visited the family of martyr Suhail Ahmad who was martyred by Indian armed forces during demonstrating peacefully against India and Israel.
Accompanied by Party senior leaders including Imtiyaz Reshi, Nazir Ahmad Khan, Abdul Raheed Budar, Farooq Ahmad and Shabir Ahmad, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza visited the family and paid glowing tributes to 15 old Martyr Suhail Ahmad. He expressed sympathy and solidarity with the family of the martyr.
Addressing gathering at the residence of martyr, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that martyrs center staged Kashmir issue and people of the Kashmir including the pro-freedom leadership has to shoulder the responsibility of taking the ongoing freedom struggle to its logical conclusion. He said that youths of the Kashmiri nation are determined towards the ongoing freedom struggle and were laying down their lives while braving the Indian army’s oppression. He said that best way of paying tribute to martyr was guarding the martyr’s mission by supporting the ongoing freedom struggle with zeal and enthusiasm.
Waza urged people of Kashmir to Jummat ul Vida as ‘Youm-e-Quds’ and held peaceful protest demonstration after Friday prayers outside every masjid in the valley for pledgeing to take the ongoing freedom movement to its logical conclusion.
He said that on the day people of Jammu and Kashmir along with world Muslim brethren will express sympathy with the naïve Gaz’ians and would urge the international community to stop the innocent killings and destruction of properties by Israel in Gaza.
Meanwhile, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza condemned the ongoing arrest spree in the valley and demanded unconditional release of arrested youth before Eid. Waza paid rich tributes to minor youth martyred by Indian forces in Qimoh Kulgam,A delegation of JKPL bereaved with Zahoor Hashmi,on his mothers death.
, July 19: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad today paid rich tributes to the innocent Youth who was martyred by Indian armed forces.
Waza said that killing of 15 years old Suhail Ahmad is barbaric and gruesome which must turn eye for the world powers claiming guards of humanity.
Earlier expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people who are braving the Israeli aggression, Senior APHC Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad on Saturday said that unresolved Gaza and Kashmir conflict have put the credibility of United Nations at stake.
Waza who was accompanied by several party leaders including Mohd Ashraf vaid, Nazir Ahmad Khan, Fayaz Ahmad and others addressed several meetings in Anantnag district during which he decried the role of United Nations in resolve the old conflict of the world including Kashmir and Gaza.
“Kashmir and Palestinian issues are present on UN agenda from past many decades and till United Nations has not resolved these issues in accordance with the wishes of its people, which has put the credibility of United Nations and world community at stake.” Waza said, adding peace, economic prosperity and stability would not return to South Asia and Middle East till these issues remain unresolved.
He stressed upon the world community to stop the Israeli barbarism in Gaza instead of turning a blind eye towards it.
Waza said that Criminal silence of international community and other organizations against the Israeli oppression on innocent Palestinians is highly condemnable. He said that Like Palestinians, Kashmiris were too being subjected to perpetual suppression.
He urged International community epically to United Nations to play an effective role in resolving the old dispute of the world especially Kashmir and Gaza.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza also condemned use of brute force on innocent Kashmrirs providing their services to Amaranth Pilgrims at Baltal. He said that Indian armed forces resorted to oppressive tact’s and injured over three dozen innocent Kashmiris besides damaging their property worth Lakhs.

Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir people’s league chairman Mukhtar
Ahmad Waza today after Friday prayers lead anti-Israel protest
demonstration in South Kashmir’s Islamabad district.
High pitched slogans were raised against Israel and India, besides pro
-Islam and pro-freedom slogans were reverberated in the peaceful
protest demonstration which started from Sherbagh Islamabad
On reaching at historical Lal Chowk Islamabad, a heavy contingent of
armed forces used force on peaceful protesters and chased protesters
by firing tear gas shells and stones. In Police action several
sustained Injuries.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on the occasion criticized armed forces for
restoring to violence and using of excessive forces on peaceful
protesters.
Waza condemned police action and termed it unwarranted. He said that
protest demonstration was peaceful but police fired teargas shells on
innocents due to which several received injuries which is itself a
grave human right violation by the troops.
Waza on the occasion expressed sympathy and solidarity with
Palestinians and urged international community to bring an end into
the innocent killings of children and women in Gaza. He said that
Kashmiris were too facing same kind oppression from India hence United
Nations must take bold steps and resolve the dispute according to
wishes and aspirations of Kashmiri people who have laid down uncounted
sacrifices.
He said that People of Jammu and Kashmir will never succumb before
Indian army’s oppression and suppression and will take the ongoing
movement to its logical conclusion.

Srinagar, July 16: Paying rich tributes to Mahjr-e-Millat late Mirwaiz Moulvi Yousuf Shah (R.A) on his 47th death anniversary for his commitment towards movement, politics, society and religion in Kashmir, APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Wednesday vowed to continue his mission till the lasting and permanent solution of Kashmir issue.

The death anniversary of Mahajr-e-Millat was observed across the Line of Control. In this connection the biggest congregation was held at historic Aali Masjid, Eidgah Srinagar.on this occassion peoples league spokesperson imtiyaz reshi was also present .

In his inaugural address at Aali Masjid, Mirwaiz stated the contributions of Mahajr-e-Millat regarding the movement, religion and politics were unmatchable. He stated that it was his commitment and resolve towards the cause that Mahajr-e-Millat preferred to live away from his home in poverty, but did not budge an inch from his political stand. He stated that the sacrifices of the late Mirwaiz and lakhs of other people was priceless asset with the Kashmiri nation. He said the sacrifices united the whole nation so as to fight for right to self determination which is continuing even today.

Throwing light on Jang-e-Badar, Mirwaiz stated that blood of innocent Muslims was being spilled everywhere in the world. In Gaza, he said Muslims were subjected to bloodshed and barbarism. He stated that Muslims were suffering since they have forgotten their glorious past and were trying to live like “others”. Unlike past, he stated Muslims were not handful, but a substantial population of the world, adding, despite that Muslims were suffering and facing the brutality of the world.

Terming the silence of Muslim world over the Gaza genocide as a matter of concern, Mirwaiz stated that may it be Palestine or Kashmir, world community has always exhibited double standards. He stated that both Kashmir and Palestine have been constant source of instability in South Asia and Middle East, but the world community and UN as well have failed to fulfill their responsibilities in that regard. As a result, Mirwaiz stated that countries like India and Israel obstinate and doing whatever possible to oppress the oppressed people.

The other noted leaders who paid tributes to Majar-e-Millat on the occasion include Moulana Abbas Ansari, Agha Syed Hassan Al Moosvi Al Safvi, General Secreatry Anjuman-e-Tabliqul-Islam Ghulam Ahmad Soharwardi, President Anjuma-e-Himaty-ul-Islam Moulana Khurshid Ahmad Qanungo, AAC Divisional president of Doda Kishtwar Abdul Gani Shah and M. S Shamas.

The qeerat recitation by Dr Shoaib Hussaini who had come all the way from Hyderabad Deccan was of a special attraction on the occasion.

Later, the gathering offered in-absentia prayers for the martyrs of Palestine. The gathering also expressed solidarity and sympathy with the Palestinian people and prayed for the freedom of besieged nation.

Special sessions to pay tributes to Mahajr-e-Millat were also held across the LoC. AAC leaders activists and workers also paid tributes to late Mirwaiz at historic Mirwaiz Manzil.

Meanwhile, Mirwaiz has expressed his regret and shock over the accident at Srinagar-Baramulla highway. While praying for the deceased, Mirwaiz has expressed his solidarity with the bereaved families and asked them to be patient at the critical time. Mirwaiz also condemned the use of force against the protesters by the police.
Waza expressed shock over HMT road accident, demands demilitarization

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today expressed deep shock over the killing of six innocents Kashmiris by Indian army vehicle in Srinagar.
He said that Indian armed forces were using their vehicles for killing common freedom loving Kashmiris. “Killings due to road accidents are increasing day by day. Hate and anger prevailing among the troops for Kashmiris is quite visible and HMT Srinagar road accident is outcome of this hate and anger.” Waza said.
He said that genocide of native Kashmiris is the main agenda of Indian armed forces and for it they have now crossed all the limits. He said that on one side Indian army is killing Kashmiris by bullets but at the same time they have brought minor changes in their oppressive policies and have started killing Kashmiris by their vehicles since from past over several years.
“These so-called roads accidents are taking place under a well planned strategy to terrorize the native Kashmiris.” Waza said, adding army vehicles playing on the roads never obey traffic rules besides terrorize Kashmiris by rash driving.
Waza demanded a complete withdrawal of Indian armed forces from Kashmir and urged human rights violations to take a strong note of the killings in so-called road accidents.
He expressed sympathy and solidarity with the families whose families members were killed by the Indian armed vehicle. He condemned use of force on peaceful protesters and demanded stringent punishment to the involved Indian army troops.  

Meanwhile during its mass contact program, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza along with party leaders visited several area of Kulgam district. Addressing the gatherings Waza expressed solidarity and sympathy with Palestinians. He urged United Nations to play effective role in resolving the conflicts in Kashmir and Gaza as its own credibility is at stake due to double standards they have kept.

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza was
detained by police along with activists when he has leading a protest
march from Kadipora to Lal Chowk.
Party spokesman imtiyaz reshi condemned police action and said that armed forces on
behest of India and its state puppets politicians was resorting to
undemocratic tact’s for keeping the pro-freedom leaders for away from
common Kashmiris.
He said that a heavy cotangent of police yesterday evening cordoned
off the residence of Mukhtar Ahmad Waza at Kadipora Islam and searched
the house besides harassing the family. He said that Waza shab gave a
slip to the armed forces and managed to lead a protest demonstration
against the Indian atrocities however police detained Waza shab along
with activists and shifted them into Sherbagh Police station.
Peoples League Leader Shakeel-ul-Rehman along with several party
workers and leaders also demonstrated in Sopore. They visited the
martyr’s grave yard and paid glowing tributes to 1931, July 13
martyrs.
Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi along with party activists visited martyrs grave
yard at Soura and paid glowing tributes to them. Pro-Freedom amd Pro
Palestine slogans were also raised
Meanwhile, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza in an issued press statement paid
glowing tributes to martyrs of 1931 and said that the martyrdom of 22
innocent Kashmiris marks the beginning of ongoing Kashmir freedom
struggle. He retreated that the ongoing freedom movement will be taken
to its logical conclusion. Waza thanked common Kashmiris for observing
a complete shutdown and said those who caged common Kashmiris with the
help of Indian armed forces are puppets and traitors of Kashmiri
nation.
