Hurriyat conference jammu Kashmir organized a protest demonstration  against issuing domicile certificates to west Pakistan refugees at Putookhah Muqam  in Sopore,  which was attended by Muslim conference chairman  & Hurriyat conference Jammu Kashmir convener Shabir Ahmed Dar ,young Mens league Chairman Imtiyaz Ahmed Reshi & Shakeel u Rehman, speaking to the people shabir ahmed dar said that , we will never allow this kind of state terrorism  of turning our  Muslim majority into minority by issuing domicile certificates ,he further said   any bilateral engagements,  with India  is a  futile exercises &  chanakiyan tactics used by occupational forces , whenever India feels that they have lost Kashmir or the  prevailing situation in Kashmir is hostile they use their mercenaries to visit Kashmir to  douse the fires . They are actually their fire fighters whose only mission has been to try as by their wisdom to pacify the situation & thus prolong their illegal occupation. So we must be vigilant against all these  double faced visitors & not let them achieve any kind of success in their nefarious designs, we have witnessed hundreds of bilateral engagements  & parleys being held  between the stake holders but one thing which seems common in all these engagements is that they were never aimed at resolving Kashmir dispute permanently ,keeping in view the wishes of kashmiries  & in light of united nations resolutions . Only trilateral talks between the stake holders under united nations auspices  can   achieve desired results . The present Indian dispensation is using  extremist & religious fundamentalist policies in Kashmir  to solidify its expansionist designs which need to be resisted  by locals &  United Nations . The concern  & seriousness shown by international community during last six months though encouraging but short of achieving desired results of seeking a permanent resolution to Kashmir dispute . They must use the  diplomacy of very high caliber to persuade India from pursuing its policy of creating terror among the masses in Jammu Kashmir  & try to seek a peaceful solution .Though India has used all its methods of terror to force kashmiries to submission but it has failed miserably .Imtiyaz Ahmed Reshi said that freedom movement will continue  despite Indian aggression till it reaches its logical conclusion, the more India uses force the more strong will be our resolve to get complete freedom from Kashmir.

Subject reminded the UNO to implement its resolutions on Kashmir,

Sir,  

       We would like to apprise before your Excellency that as u already know October 27 as the blackest day in the history of Jammu and Kashmir. it was on this day when India sent its armed forces to Kashmir to occupy it forcibly  on October 27 in 1947 to enchain Kashmiries in shackles of slavery.  

The United Nations had accepted Kashmir as an international dispute and passed resolutions for its solution. “The intransigent stance of India on Kashmir is the main hurdle to resolve the long-pending dispute added.  said that the lingering dispute could only be resolved through implementation of the UN resolutions and India must take concrete steps in this regard fair referendum by United Nations to resolve the Kashmir problem. "It is really deplorable and regrettable that UNO, the World forum commanding respect could not facilitate the implementation of its resolutions on Kashmir, UNCIP (United Nations Commission on India and Pakistan) in its Jan 5, 1949 resolutions vociferously recommended plebiscite to determine the political future of Kashmir,"  Kashmiri people. 

 “The people of Kashmir have never accepted the illegal Indian occupation Kashmir is a disputed area that has been illegally occupied by India sine from 27 October 1947 and the first resolution related to Kashmir issue was passed by the United Nations of 13 August 1948 clearly advocating to hold a plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir and further directs both the countries not to claim sovereignty over the region.

He said that Kashmir Dispute is supported by 18 resolutions of United Nations and because the long pending Kashmir Issue both the countries have fought several wars.   Pt. Nehru also in his historical speech at Lal Chwok Srinagar has promised with Kashmir people that they will be allowed to decide their future, in which he failed and from 1947 government of India is muzzling the aspirations of Kashmiri people by not giving them a chance to use their birth right “right to self determination”.

   from last 70years, during which lakhs of Innocent Kashmiri people laid these precious lives, thousands were tortured in  integrations centers, Kashmiri young girls were reaped resulting greave human rights violations in the valley and very recently thousands of unmarked graves were found in the valley and thousands of youths were disappeared by forces  that itself are evidences of the human rights violations done by the Indian troops. that future of the South Asian region can only be saved by resolving the Kashmir dispute as per wishes of the Hardening its position in the backdrop of flaring tension and human rights violations in Kashmir the united Nation to implement its resolution on Kashmir and also urged the UN to take a serious notice of grave human rights violations that have been done by the government of India and security agencies during last 70years including, Killing of innocent people, gang rapes, tortures  in  integrations  centers as well as fake encounters.    

  Kashmir Issue is a nuclear flash point in the south Asian region and hence delay in its peaceful resolution has dangerous results.

  Kashmiri Innocent people from last 66 years are demanding Right to Self determination peacefully and democratically guaranteed by United Nations but they are still denied and hence the resolution of Kashmir issue is pending, resulting grave human rights violations, Killings and bloodshed in the Himalayan bounded Kashmir valley that still going on.

Seeking UN intervention,   no peace can be guaranteed in South Asia unless Kashmir issue is amicably settled by the parties to the issue namely India.

United Nations could play a constructive role in facilitating meaningful engagement and
dialogue between Pakistan, India and the Kashmiris for final resolution of the dispute.

They forcibly occupied Jammu and Kashmir and on its 70th anniversary Kashmir people are observing complete shutdown to renew its pledge for getting freedom from India.” Leader said.
They said that India and its armed forces used every means of oppression and suppression for crushing the peaceful freedom movement of Kashmir but still naïve Kashmiris haven’t bowed before the oppressor and are continue its indigenous movement by braving the Indian military oppression.
HCJK leader said that during past 70 years people of Jammu and Kashmir haven’t sacrificed their lives, property and dignity for the sake of power or development but are rendering sacrifices for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir conflict which has endangered the peace and stability of South Asian region.

They said curfew, crackdowns, murder and humiliation of women had become hallmark of the Mahbooba regime to protect India's forcible occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.They warned that Indian regime's days were numbered in the valley due to its own hypocrisy and ferocity and moreover the rulers in Delhi were showing obliviousness to the political atmosphere in the wounded land of the Kashmiris. "India's battle for survival in the valley is like a dying wolf, it's doomed owing to its ethical and popular incapacity to acknowledge the reality, hence better to quit earlier than before, "he remarked. They said that instead of resolving the Kashmir dispute, India was using coercive means to muzzle the just voice of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination.
They appealed to the international community to play an effective role in settling the Kashmir dispute without any further delay Therefore world of conscience, especially Human Rights organizations like Amnesty, Asia Watch, ICRC and others along with Save The Children are urged to take concrete steps to stop India from killing spree in Kashmir,”

 HCJK Paid rich tributes to Bijbehara Martyrs and resistance former commander Khaleel ur Rehman on their 23th Martyrdom Anniversary.

Expressing serious concern over the falling health of Yain Malik,HCJK.

Srinagar, October 23,  Hurriyat Conference jk convener and Muslim Conference chairman Shabir Ahmad Dar, ,Mahzi Azadi president Muhammad Iqbal Mir, International forum for justice chairman Muhammad Ahsan untoo, young men’s league chairman Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and Tehreeqi Istiqamat Chairman Gulam Nabi War in a statement to media    league has paid glowing tribute to former resistance Leader and Supreme commander Aljehad Khaleel ur Rehman and  Bijbehara  martyrs who fell to the bullet of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Bijbehara on October 22, 1993.HCJK Leaders said Khaleel ur Rehman was double M A in English and Arabic and was the prime member of peoples league earlier in 1970 he was also close aid of Shaheedi Azimat sheikh Ab Aziz.

Leaders said that Kashmiri martyrs sacrificed their lives for a sacred cause and the sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste. They deplored that no action had been taken, so far, against the killers of the innocent people  of Bijbehara  despite passing of Twenty three years.
 “The sacrifices of 1993 and even after that are assets for the movement and can never go waste. Who sacrificed their lives will serve as beacon light for the rest of us.”   Adding that Kashmir martyrs have center staged the Kashmir issue and because of the martyrs world on humanitarian grounds wants to resolve the issue.

They said that more than 51 people were martyred, hundreds of got injured by the BSF troopers in Bijehara on October 22, 1993,  when the people of the area held a peaceful demonstration against the siege of Hazratbal shrine by Indian Army

They said that the ongoing movement would be taken to its logical conclusion and appealed the international community, United Nations and world human rights watch groups to take a serious note of the human rights violations done by the security forces in the valley and to help resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with Kashmiris’ aspirations and relevant United Nations resolutions.

Meanwhile HCJK leaders has expressed serious concern over the falling health condition of Liberation front chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik  who has been shifted to SKIMS for advance treatment .leaders added Malik is unable to walk or sit properly. In absence of medical aid, his health condition has deteriorated. They demanded Authority to provide Yasin Malik medical aid  without any further delay and make his early release possible.

Vandalism by damaging residential houses , Cars ,and costly home items in kashmir  has become daily routine of Indian forces and is related to Israili policy.

 Hurriyat conference jk Spokesperson said delegation of Hurriyat conference related to mass contact program led by Huuriyat JK leader and  Young mens league vice chairman  Shakeel ur Rehman  today visited Kheeri, Salosa and Nopur where last night forces   damaged public  property   residential houses  cars and costly home items .On this occasion Shakeel u rehman expresssed symphaty and solidarity with people ,  While adressin people there Shakeel u rehman   strongly condemned vandalizing  damaging Public property  He said The way  forces   has been unleashed its force on the people for the past 97 days for breaking the will of the people striving for their right to self determination ,tantamount to committing of grave atrocities with gruesome tactics ,oppressive and suppressive measures and has has become daily routine of Indian forces and is related to Israili policy. Rehman  said Indian forces has lost all human values now minors are also being targeted  and victim of Indian brutalties and  forces show their brutal power to suppress the voice of Protesters in which dozens of locals were injured and dozens of glasses of houses were broken. Shakeel ur rehman expressed serious concern over the crimnal silence adopted by world human rights organizations it is there moral duty to high light these type of brutalties . He also  urges international community to break silence  and show positive approach in veiw to provide justice to kashmiri people, take note of the grave situation in Kashmir and intervene to save the people from what he termed Indian oppression and barbarity. “It’s the moral responsibility of the international community to stop an oppressive regime from committing heinous crimes against innocents.
