Srinagar,  September 29, 2013:  Public affair APHC headed by   chairman Muslim league Hakeem Ab Rashid  along with senior leader and spokesperson  peoples league  Imtiyaz Reshi today visited soura and along with other areas and leaders were accompanied by senior leader Ajaz Ahmad Wani and Mohd Maqbool Sofi  in an get together with public had concerned over growing social evils, moral degradation expressed concern over the growing social evils and moral degradation
in the society and urged upon the people particularly parents to help
in checking the menace.

 “The moral degradation among the youth is one of the biggest
challenges which society is facing. Instead of blaming the western
countries, we need to do self-introspection and join hands and take
measures for checking the menace,”  Public Afairs said in press statement

.In the statement issued from Srinagar  Rashid Hakeem  said that social evils
like drug addiction are rising on alarming rate that could harm the
society in whole but Kashmir cause in particular.
“For a single benefit we are destroying whole society, corers of
rupees are being spent on drugs and by this we are destroying our own
economy as well as our future of children.” Adding that parents
especially religious scholars should come forward and educate the
youth about the abuses of drugs so that we can secure the future of
our children.
He said that unfortunately school going children are being engaged in
chars extraction in some areas of South Kashmir besides cultivating
bung on thousands Kanals of land.
 ON this occasion imtiyaz reshi  appealed the parents, senior citizens and especially religious
scholars to come forward and halt the social evils vis-à-vis moral
degradation.
He maintained that for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue a
healthy and socially and morally strong society is much more needed.

Srinagar,  september 29,Hurriyet Conference executive member and Chairman
Jammu Kashmir Peoples league, Mukthar Ahmad waza has appealed to the
international Criminal Tribunal to investigate into the discovery of
unmarked graves in Kashmir and killing of innocent youths in shopion by forces and killing of Senior hurriyat leader and executive and central counsel member of peoples league Gazi Rashid  and identify the persons buried in them and
 the report about the unidentified graves in the  territory must be
analyzed in the context that over ten thousand Kashmiris have
disappeared in custody during the last twenty-two years.
Waza while addressing party workers at different areas of Phalgam,
appleaded the world organization to help kashmiri people in resolving
long pending Kashmir issue on humanitarian grounds. He said that Kashmir
was a political dispute, which could be resolved through tripartite
talks involving India, Pakistan and the true Kashmiri leadership.

He stressed India to create conducive atmosphere for meaningful and
result-oriented talks on Kashmir. He said that permanent peace in
South Asia was impossible without the settlement of the long-pending
dispute over Kashmir.
Waza demanded an end to unlawful arrest spree and halt to gross
violations of human rights by Indian troops in Kashmir. He said that
the world community had recognized Kashmir as a dispute, which should
be settled through dialogue process.
 Waza appealed to the international community, United Nations, OIC and
world human rights to impress uponIndia to end human rights
violations in Kashmir.
He maintained that India’s claim of zero tolerance against rights
abuse proved to be a hoax in the backdrop of fake encounters and
targeted killing of innocent Kashmiris over the past few months.
Waza urged India to stop the rights abuse, withdraw its troops and
repeal all black laws from the territory before initiating meaningful
talks on Kashmir.
He deplored that the occupation authorities had always tried to shield
the culprits involved in the killing of innocent Kashmiri people.
Waza said that Indian troops had unleashed a reign of terror in
Kashmir to suppress Kashmiris’ liberation struggle. “The troopers
commit gross rights’ abuses with impunity in Kashmir due to the
invocation of draconian laws by occupation authorities,” he added.
He said irrespective of any countries support Kashmiri people and
especially youths are committed to achieve independence from India at
every cost.

 Take peace initiatives’ before dialogue process, Waza tells India
Srinagar, September 27 /2013 According to ths spokesperson jkpl imtiyaz reshi Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Chairman and Hurriyat Executive Member, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on Friday said that India should take peace initiatives before formal dialogue process, so that conflict affected people of both sides of Jammu and Kashmir can breathe in a peaceful atmosphere.

Addressing Friday congregation In Dashanporah jamia Islamabad today, Waza welcomed the ongoing dialogue process between the two countries at New YORK and said that we have always advocated a result oriented dialogue process with the inclusion of Kashmir genuine leadership representing aspirations of people at Large.
However, he said that the dialogue process can’t yield fruits till government of India fails to take peace initiatives in the state.
“Dialogue and Human rights violations, dialogue and killings can’t go side by side, so first of all government of India should make atmosphere appropriate for dialogue process, that would turn it result oriented,” Waza said.
He said that after passing several years’ persons involved in the tragic incident of Shopian, in which our two sisters Neolfar and Asia were raped and killed were promoted instead of giving them punishment and said that there are thousands of incidents resembling shopian tragedy.
Waza said that Government of India should firstly stop violating human rights in the state that he and his security agencies are continuously violating the state. He said that they should investigate the cases of custodial killings, unnamed graves, and cases of custodial disappearances, cases rapes, molestations, human rights violations and others.
He said that both the countries before the dialogue process should reopen all five traditional routes that connect Azad Jammu Kashmir with this part of the state so that disconnected families of the both regions can meet the dear ones for which they are waiting from last a decade and people of Jammu and Kashmir can restart their business with Azad Jammu and Kashmir and other south Asian countries, were economic prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir is hidden.
Waza pointed out that without demilitarizing the valley, dialogue process can’t yield fruits and said that government of India should leave aside its rigid police and should demilitarize the valley, release all illegally detained political detainees lashing in different jails and intragration centres’.
He maintained that if government of India succeeds in taking these initiatives, can make post started dioluge process a result oriented and can pave a way for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue, for which they have given unparallel scarifies that will not go in vein nor any body will be allowed waste the blood of martyrs’ that they have given for securing right to self determination, a birth right of every Kashmiri.
Waza said that Kashimr freedom movement will be taken to logical conclusion besides facing all odds.

Urgent mail  Waza today visited yariporah and dardporah shopion
 senior hurriyat leader, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, along with the workers visited Yaripora and Dardopra Shopian to condole with the families of youth who were murdered by the Indian forces. He passed on the condolence message of APHC Chairman to the bereaved families and expressed sympathy and solidarity with them.

APHC  public affairs division  today visited palhalan patan for paying rich tributes to shaheed billal ah bhat and mohd Yaqoob sofi  .
APHC  public affairs division leaders headed by Hakeem ab Rasheed, and accompanied by senior hurriyet leaders include ,Basheer Indrabi, Ab Rasheed unto and imtiyaz ahmad reshi  today  visited palhalan patan for paying rich tributes to shaheed billal ah bhat and mohd Yaqoob sofi  . on this occasion  Hakkem Rashid  said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be taken to its logical conclusion   said that Kashmiri martyrs centre-staged Kashmir dispute at the international level. He reiterated the pledge to continue the liberation struggle, despite all odds. Right from 1947,India has been trying to suppress the voice of Kashmiris by force. But neither they succeeded in the past, nor they would in future,” he added.the other leaders who spoke on this occasion were B A INDRABI AND IMTIYAZ RESHI  Both leaders said withdrawal of military presence from the towns and villages, dismantling of bunkers, watchtowers and barricades, release of political prisoners and annulment of draconian laws are must for the protection of life and property of people.”

 Aphc chairman Mirwaiz Omer Farooq has strongly condemned The police action against Chairman peoples league  and executive member of aphc Mukhtar Ahmad Waza. Waza was    pushed by police   to   ground with force, and start beating ruthlessly, as that have caught some wanted Criminal. The forces chased down the peoples League activists and workers from all possible sides, and ruthlessly beat up everyone.

Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir People’s League Chairman Mukhtar
Ahmad Waza today expressed deep anguish over the state terrorism
perpetrated by Indian security forces in Kashmir and supported the
call given by APHC Chairman, Mirvaiz Omar Farooq for Shopian Chalo.
Waza appealed people to gathering in Jamia Masjid Shopian on Friday
for collective prayers and after prayers leadership along with people
will hold protest against the genocide of Kashmiri’s.
He said that on each passing day Indian security forces were killing
people and violating human rights violations, which seems Indian
security forces were thirsty of Kashmiri blood.
Waza paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of Shopain and Pattan youth
who were martyred by Indian forces without justification and said that
the state terrorism perpetrated Indian authorities have crossed all
the limits. He said that international community should come forward
in stooping the continuous violations of human rights and killing of
innocent people.
He supported the Call given by APHC Chairman, Mirvaiz Omar Farooq for
shopian chalo and urged people to march towards Shopian on Friday.
He also demanded lifting of Curfew from the district without any further delay.

Along with APHC (M) Chairman, Mirvaiz Omar Farooq, Police in a bid to foil the ‘Shopian Chalo’ of Hurriyat, Police today arrested Jammu and Kashmir people’s Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad along with other leaders including Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Hakeem Abdul Rashid, Bashir Ahmad Indrabi and lodged them in Police Station Raj Bagh Srinagar.

Party Spokesman condemned the action of Police and said that the Hurriyat leaders were scheduled to meet the people of Shopain, were curfew has been imposed since last 10 days. According to spokesman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that the shortage of basic amenities like food and medicine has affected the population of the district. He impressed upon human rights organizations to take a serious note of the prevailing situation in Kashmir especially of Shopian which remains under curfew since last ten days.

Earlier, JKPL Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza briefed Canadian delegation about the Kashmir situation viz-a-viz the violations of human right by Indian troops in the valley. Worthwile to mention that Canadain delegation today met APHC Chairman Mirvaiz Omar Farooq and others executive members including Prof. Abdul Gani Bhat, Aga Hussan Badgami, and Mohmmad Musadiq Aadil.

addressed the mourning function of martyred leader at old Baramullah,
he was accompanied by party leaders and activists including Mohd

leadership and civil society members, lawyers, and trade unionists,
people from business community, intellectuals and students of the
district.
Rich tributes were paid to the martyred leader Shaheed Abdul Rashid
Gazi and solidarity were expressed with the family. Gathering
committed to continue the ongoing freedom struggle despite all odds.
Adressing the function, Jamm and Kashmir people’s league Chairman
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza Paid glowing tributes to the martyred leader, and
said that party had given scarifies for the freedom of the nation and
it will continue till Kashmir gets resolved according to the United
Nations resolutions.
Waza refuted the claims of police that Gazi shab died in road accident
and said that the torcher marks were visible on the martyred leader’s
body. He demanded a through probe into the killing of leader by
international crime tribunal as the probes and investigations ordered
by the puppet authorities are fake and not worth to trust.
“How we can expect justice from the Killers first Indian troops kills
and then they assure us that they investigate, how irony is this,”
adding Kashmiri people don’t expect any justice from the india so it
is the responsibility of international community to take step ahead
for providing justice to the people of the state, illegally occupied
by India since 1947.
“We have learned from the past experiences that nothing came out from
the probes they order so we demand a probe through international crime
tribunal.” Waza maintained.
Expressing solidarity with the family of Gazi Shab, Waza said that the
role played by martyred leader will not underestimated neither his
martyrdom will be allowed go to waste. He said that the leader devoted
his life to the freedom struggle and during which he was imprisoned.
Waza said that it is now evident fact that no one is safe in Kashmir
due to the heavy presence of Indian armed forces who have lashed a
reign of terror among the valley people by killing people without
reasons and justification.
He also expressed solidarity with the families of Shopain whose near
and dear ones were killed during past week’s spate of killings. He
said that Indian troops have terrorized the people. He appealed world
community to intervene for stopping the killing spate lashed by Indian

JKPL calls for shutdown in Baramullah on Friday

Waza has urged the people of Baramullah to observe a complete shutdown
on Friday aganist the killing of party leader Abdul Rashid Gazi.

According to spokesman Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad
Waza has appealed people including traders, transporters and
shopkeepers to observe complete strike against the killing tomorrow
on Friday against the brutal and barbaric killing of party leader,
Abdul Rashid Gazi

He refuted the claims of police that party leader died in a hit and
run accident and said that the torchered marks were visible on martyrs
body, hence the killing of pro-freedom leader needs fair judicial
probe.

alias Gazi Baba in North Kashmir’s Baramullah district. Party chairman
termed it barbaric and said that he was killed under a conspiracy
aimed to sabotage the freedom voice in Kashmir.

Paying glowing tributes to the leader who achieved martyrdom today,
Waza said that India is hell bent upon to suppress the freedom voice
by killing people and pro-freedom Hurriyat leadership. He said that
under the well planned conspiracy Sheikh Abdul Aziz was martyred and
now they killed Abdul Rashid Gazi shab.

Waza said that Gazi Shab was well known leader and pro-freedom voice
of Jammu and Kashmir and JKPL. He since his younger age continued to
raise the voice against India’s oppression and due which he was
martyred today. Waza said that Gazi Shab was 65 years old and was
central council member of the party and during his political career
his was imprisoned many a times. He said that Gazi Shab scarified his
life for the ongoing movement and hence his role can’t be
underestimated.

Waza said that the leader was in Islamabad yesterday to bereave me and
at 5: pm he along with other Hurriyat delegation left the town. He
demanded a high level judicial probe into the killing of leader as the
torcher marks were visible on his body.

Meanwhile Jammu and Kashmir people’s league expressed shock over the
killing of party leader and expressed solidarity with the family.

People from all walks throng Waza’s residence to express condolence
Srinagar
Sep 11: Today a large number of people from different shades
and walks of life visited the bereaved family of Senior Hurriyat
Leader and Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza Islamabad
Kashmir over the sad demise of his mother. According to the spokesman
Peoples League Imtiyaz Reshi, a programme of Quran Khawani will be
held tomorrow on 12th September at the Chairman’s residence.

In this connection a high level delegation of Hurriyat leaders today
visited the bereaved family which included APHC Executive Member Aga
Syed Hassan Al Mosvi Al Safvi, Adv. Shahid-ul-Islam, Javaid Ahmad Mir,
Hakeem Abdul Rasheed, Manan Bukhari, Ghulam Nabi Zaki Syed Bashir
Andrabi, Abdul Majeed Banday and Jhangeer Ghani Bhat.
The delegation sympathized with the bereaved family members and
offered heartfelt condolence on behalf of Hurriyat Chairman Mirwaiz
Umar Farooq. The delegation prayed to almighty Allah for the departed
soul in peace and shows their solidarity with their bereaved family.
Speaking on the occasion Executive Member Hurriyat conference Aga Syed
Hassan Al Mosvi Al Safvi , Jawaid Ahmad Mir described the late soul as
generous, noble and religious lady. He also recalled her great
contribution for upliftment of needy and poor by sitting side by side
to her Son.
Apart from this a large number of local people also visited the
residence of Mukhtar Waza and prayed for the eternal peace to the
departed soul. A number of people from different walks of life sent
their condolence message to the bereaved family.
Among other resistant leaders Mohd Ashraf Sofi General Mosa, Ghulam
Nabi Sumjhi, Mohammad Ramzan Wandro, Abdul Majeed Wani, Mohammad
Yousuf Magray AB Rashid Gazi also visited the bereaved family.
Meanwhile according to the spokesman Peoples League Imtiyaz Reshi, a
programme of Quran Khawani will be held tomorrow on 12th September at
the Chairman’s residence.

While demanding international probe into the killings of shopion JKLF leader jawaid ahmad mir and Jammu Kashmir peoples league leader imtiyaz reshi has strongly condemned the killing of another youth Rafee Ahmad in shopion concerned over continuing human rights violations by Indian troops in Jammu Kashmir.
Jawaid and Reshi in a statement paid glowing tributes to those who felt the bullets of Indian troops in shopion Noticing doubt from different angles into the claimed of encounter of India troops, Imtiyaz reshi demanded an impartial probe through any international agency, as according to him several persons are missing in the area.
He maintained that the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle for an amicable and durable solution of the Kashmir dispute. He said that the Kashmir dispute is the main hurdle in the cordial relations between the two nuclear neighbouring countries.
“Spotting of unmarked graves in every part of Kashmir are the umpteen examples that Indian armed forces have been rendered trigger free and have unleashed terror in every nook and corner of Kashmir.” He said.
Both leaders called upon the international community to continue to highlight the human rights violations being perpetrated by Indian military and para-military forces in Kashmir and to impress upon the government of India to allow an independent and impartial investigation of the mass grave sites in the region.
He urged the international human rights organizations to send a fact-finding mission to enquire about the human rights violations being committed by Indian troops in the region.

Srinagar, September 09: JKPL Chairman Mukthar Ahmad Waza’s mother passed away mother passed away today after a brief illness at her home in Kadipora Islamabad.
Her Namaz-e-Janaza was led by Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and was attended by hundreds of people, party activists, political and social personalities including senior Hurriyat leadersp Mohd Musadiq Aadil, Hakeem Abdul Rashid, Imtiyaz Ahmad reshi, Ab Rashid Untoo, Bashir indrabi, Farooq Mamoosi, Ab Majid wani ,and Mukhtar Ahmad sofi. PL leaders Mohd Ashraf sofi, Imtiyaz Ahmad reshi,   Jaffer Kashmiri and others also offered Nimaz-e-Jenazh
Jammu Kashmir Peoples League has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the mother of APHC Leader, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and prayed Allah Almighty to rest her in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the loss.
JKPL in a condolence meeting offered fateha for the departed soul and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families. They said that she was deeply pious and God fearing woman and May God rest her soul in peace. May also bestow patience to all those who grieve at her passing, for from Him we come and to Him we must return, spokesman JKPL added.
He said that she being a mother of pro freedom leader, had played a great and significant role in the ongoing freedom movement and hence the sacrifices of our sisters and mothers will not allowed to go waste and the movement will be taken to its logical conclusion.

According to the spokesperson jkpl imtiyaz reshi said Jammu and Kashmir people’s league chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza appealed people to observe complete strike on Sunday while
expressing shock over the cold murder of four innocents youths by
Indian troops in Shoipan, said that killings kashmiri people has
became routine matter of the troops enjoying special immunity under
the grab of draconian laws.
Waza in a statement expressed shock over the killing of four
innocent’s youths in shopian by the Indian troops and termed cold
blooded murder. He said that incident is not new to the people of
state as the Indian troops since they occupied the state illegally
have killings lakhs of people in integrations centres, staged
encounters, in custody and even have enforced thousands of people to
disappear whose families still await for their return.
He said that troops have lashed a reign of terror from last over three
decades in the state just to back hold the people of Jammu and Kashmir
for demanding basic right ‘right to self determination’
Waza appealed visiting international media houses to visit the shopian
and see the ground reality how Indian troops under the policy and
programme of oppression killed innocent people. He said that India has
ever since tried to mislead the world community through different
tact’s and this time they used music to mislead the world community
about the ground reality of Kashmir.
Criticizing Zubin Mehta’s musical concert, Waza appealed to all those
who are the part of concert to visit the families of enforced
disappeared persons, imprisoned innocent people, killed during
custody, konanposhpora mass rape victims, shoipan double rape and
murders, to those who lost their lives due to the oppression of India
and espeacily visit the family four innocent youths who were killed
today.
He appealed international community to come forward in resolving the
decades old Kashmir dispute according to aspirations and wishes of
Kashmiri people.

APHC  public affairs division peacefully protests against Zubin show

Senior Hurriyat leader and Jammu Kashmir people’s league chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today led a protest demonstration aginst the musical concert at Tral. He was accompanied by party workers and leaders. They raise slogans against India and its puppet government in the state who are hell bent upon to mislead the international community about the nature of Kashmir dispute.

Earlier addressing Friday congregations at Faizpanah tral, Waza said that Zubin Mehta’s musical concert is being organized under a well planned strategy of cultural aggression and through it India wants legitimate its illegal rule and wants to show the world community caged peace in the valley.

He said that world community well aware about the nature of Kashmir conflict and they are bound to help helpless kashmiris in this turmoil. JKPL Chairman said that through this musical concert Indian wants to cover worst human rights violations that their troops have committees during last decades. He said that people of state given unparalleled scarifies for the freedom of the nation and they will continue to fight politically against the illegal occupation of India.

India wants to legitimate its rule through Zubin Mehta’s concert: Waza
Srinagar, September 05:
Senior Hurriyat leader and Jammu Kashmir people’s league chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today while appealing German Embassy to with hold the decision of organizing musical concert in Kashmir said that concert is amid to legitimate India’s illegal rule and will affect the disputed nature of the state.
Waza in a statement said that Zubin Mehta’s musical concert is being organized under a well planned strategy of cultural aggression and through it India wants legitimate its illegal rule and wants to show the world community caged peace in the valley.  
He appealed Germany and its Ambassador Michael Steiner to spend money they have kept for international musical concert by Zubin Mehta in Srinagar, on the JK’s ailing health and education sectors. He said that they should construct a hospital or university if they really care kashmiri people.
JKPL Chairman said that Germany should not forget that Kashmir is a conflict zone and in 2008 they have signed a paper for investigating the unidentified mass graves in the Kashmir illegally occupied by India since 1947 and till time India has not took a step forward in this regard.
Taking a dig on the people supporting musical concert in Kashmir, Waza said that its very unfortunate that few valley based Singers are part of India’s conspiracy. He said that it could be that Zubin Mehta might not have the seen the India’s oppression but the Kashmiri singers who are part of the programme should restrain from such activities as they know the reality of Kashmir.
Appealing intellectuals, business people, students, professors, doctors and lawyers to make people aware about the policies and programs of India, he also appealed ulma’s to aware people about the conspires of cultural aggression during Friday congregations.
