conspiracy against party
Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir people’s league today conveyed a daylong
meeting of central council members that was attended by party general
sectary Mohd Ashraf Vaid, Political sectary Gulam Qadir Rah, Chief
organizer Farooq Ahmad Dar, provincial president Shakeel-ul-Rehman,
Chief Co-ordinator Jaffar Kashmiri, Cheif Spokesman Imtiyaz Ahmad
Reshi, Distrcit president Srinagar Bashir Ahmad Khanna, Distrcit
president Baramullah Mohd Ramzan Vandroo, Gazi Ab Rashid, Shabir Ahmad
Bhat, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, Mir Manzoor, Mulvi Javed, Javied Ahmad Wani,
abdul Ahad Qadri and others.
During the meeting party chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza discussed recent
political cum social developments of the state. However he expressed
serious concern over defaming the party by few suspended party
activists. He said that from past one year these three suspended
activists of the league under a well planned strategy are trying to
defame the party and they themselves are indulged in the conspiracy
against the party. In the meeting it was observed by the members that
three suspended activists are blackmailing the party cadre as to hide
their sins that they committed by hatching conspiracy against the
party by external support, hence now being found involved in the
conspiracy these three activists including Mohd Maqbool Sofi, Gulam
Nabi Darzi, Gulam Nabi sofi alias Waseem has been expelled from the
basic membership of the party. Members also said that a gang behind
this conspiracy will be exposed soon with the will of Allah Jalah
Shanhoo.
While concluding the meeting, Chairman People’s League, Mukhtar Ahmad
Waza said that the party is itself a movement whose mission is Win,
Freedom and Islam. He directed all its central counsil members and
district representatives to get in touch with people and strength the
roots of party on all levels.
Central council members also supported chairman and said that they
will not allow any body to defame the party by one or the other means.

Kashmir and we have no responsibilities to take it but at the same
time we have to assist the families of martyrs who are facing tough
time.”

In continuation to door to door campaign    Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on  Friday  visited  verinag  district Islamabad. While addressing an impressive gathering  after firday prayers  Speaking  to people by APHC leader Mukhtar Waza said like the positive and clear policy of Pakistan, India should give up its traditional policy on Kashmir and adopt a clear-cut and sincere policy so that the peace process among the three concerned parties - India, Pakistan and the people of Kashmir - could be taken to its logical conclusion. It is imperative for the resolution of the Kashmir issue that the ground situation should improve, but unfortunately the rights situation is getting worse day by day.
Expressing deep concern over the continued human rights violations in Kashmir, he asked India to stop blood bath of innocent Kashmiris, release the illegally detained liberation leaders so as to pave a way for the peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue.
Waza urges world community to help resolve Kashmir dispute, maintained that the Kashmir freedom leaders stands for a just, equitable and amicable settlement of dispute in line with Kashmiris’ aspirations.on this occasion waza paid glowing tribute to all martyrs including pallhallan martyr and said martyrs are the real heroes and has centre staged k issue at global level.

Waza tells Indo-Pak to implement CBM’s paving way for Kashmir resolution

Srinagar, May 17:  Jammu and Kashmir People’s League Chairman, Mukhtar
Waza today appealed India and Pakistan to implement the promised
confidence building measures (CBM) paying way for the resolution of
decades old Kashmir dispute that has endangered the peace and
stability of south Asian region.
Addressing people after Friday prayers here in South Kashmir’s Achabal
area Muktar Waza said, “Kashmiri people have given unlimited scarifies
for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue and both the countries
involved in the issue are non serious but this non seriousness can
hamper the economic growth of whole south Asia.”
He said that Indian prime Minister Manmohan Singh has promised to
implement the confidence building measures but still after the passage
of years kashmiri still wait by which both the countries can move
forward.
“CBM’s like releasing prisoners lashing in different Indian jails,
demilitarizing state, making borders irrelevant and free trade across
the divided parts will really help both the countries in resolving
Kashmir issue and they will mark the step .” he said.
Waza said that kashmiri prisoners lashing in Indian jails are being
treated inhumanly while as Indian authorities who are being
pressurized by the international community also to trace the forced
disappeared person whose parents are awaiting for them besides
passages of over 22 years.
He appealed Indian authorities to shift kashmiri prisoners to Srinagar
central jail as the incidents that took place indo-pak jails have
threatened the families of Kashmiri prisoners lashing in Indian jails.
He said that Indian authorities are hatching conspiracies against the
kashmri youth as to divert their minds from the Kashmir issue.
“Conspiracies are being hatching against our youth and they are being
addicted to drugs as to finish their pro-freedom stand in the state.”
Adding India will not get any success in such inhuman tact’s.
He said that Kashmir youth are well aware about these conspiracies and

While addressing the meeting party chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza
brified party leaders about the present political scenario of Jammu
and Kashmir viz-a-viz south Asian countries like India, Pakistan and
china. He expressed concern over the deliberate attempts of India
aimed to throw the issue in ice box besides having acknowledged the
importance of Kashmir issue. He said that people league as a party has
right from 1974 raised and demanded the resolution of Kashmir issue as
per the aspiration of Kashmir people and during which the party’s
activists were imprisoned even martyred among them the top most
include S Hameed Wani and Sheikh Abdul Aziz. Praying glowing tributes
to martyrs especially of party’s he said that martyrs have
internationalized the Kashmir issue and hence the role played by the
martyrs cannot be under estimated nethire party will allow any such
body to do so. He also paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Molana Mohd
Farooq and Kowaja Abdul Gani
He said that the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue grantees peace,
political and economic stability of south Asia hence the both
countries should restart the dialogue process for the resolution of
Kashmir issue. Expressing satisfaction over the Pakistan elections
and emergence of PML (N) as the expected ruling party in the country,
waza hoped the Mai Nawaz Sharief will restart the process for
resolving Kashmir dispute accordingly.
He directed party leaders and activists to strength the party as gross
root levels and to intensify the ‘door to door movement’.
Party patron, Mohd Yaqoob Sheikh also addressed the meeting
telephonically and paid glowing tributes to martyrs’ of Kashmir.
Party General Sectary, Mohd Ashraf Sofi, also briefed meeting about
the party affairs while appealing them to work and reach out to people
with political agenda regarding resolution of Kashmir issue.

Mukhtar Ahmad Waza was today detained and was  put under house arrest t his residence waza was scheduled to attend the nimazi jinazah  to martyr sanaullah at kmd Islamabad

police raided the house of Mukhtar Ahmad Waza at Kadipora Islamabad
during  in early hours  and detained him in  home at Islamabad and was not allowed to go for attending nimazi jinazah.

On the other hand peoples league chairman Mukhtar Ahmad waza has strongly condemned and criticized the attack and cold blooded murder on Pakistani prisoner namely sanaullah in kothbilwar jail  was preplanned were he was prisoner about 17 years .This negative approach of Indian government has badely hurted the humanity and human values .Waza has expressed concern and apprehensions over the safety of kashmiri and Pakistani prisoners in Indian different jails and impressed that their safety should be guaranteed.Waza appealed to shift all kashmiri and Pakistani prisoners in Indian different jails to Srinagar and also release all detunes.

(International) ,< World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day (International),< 1990:- Athar Syed Bashir Qadri  d/o Syed Rasool Shah Geelani Mir Muhallah  Hasi Butt Rainawari 13 Shwal .  KHANYAR INCIDENT - 8.5.1991 about five in the evening, when a peaceful procession carrying the dead bodies of persons killed in Dachhigam incident and those killed at Saidkadal locality were being brought for burial, reciting verses of Holy Quran, the armed forces deployed in the area started indiscriminate firing on the mourners and killed about twenty unarmed civilians and injured more than fifty two persons.In this incident one infant aged two years and his father were killed. Also four persons of the same family got killed whose dead bodies were in the mosque of the locality till late night. Number of dead persons could not be identified and were buried later after great difficulty. The authorities did not allow any one to perform the religious ceremonies. A team of local and foreign media men tried their best to visit the spot but were not allowed by the forces and the Government. However, some media men already accompanying the mourners procession while performing their professional duties have also witnessed the occurrence and agreed that no provocation was offered by anyone from among the mourners procession but forces indiscriminately fired and killed scores of people. After some time when the firing stopped, people tried to move to their respective places, a group of paramilitary forces coming from Nowhutta started firing again on the passers-by due to which some more persons got killed and number of others injured. This again is a clear evidence that innocent people are being killed in Kashmir. In this incident five ladies namely Fatima of Khanyar, Shamima of Rainawari, Samina of Rainawari, Dedri of Rajourikadal, Khati of Seshagari Mohalla Khanyar and an infant of two years got killed. The massacre is a part of the pre-planned scheme of suppressing the genuine will of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Some official was nominated by the Government to look into the massacre. People rejected the appointment. They apprehended that the official was to clear the guilty personnel of murders. They demanded enquiry by a judge of High Court,sitting or retired. Government did not agree for obvious reasons of exposure. The people of Kashmir, therefore, choose to appoint a public enquiry commission headed by a retired Judge of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court . Justice M.B.Farooqi was kind enough to extend his services.
