Jammu Kashmir Peoples League paid gleaming tributes to Mufti Gh. Mohi-u-din Najar of Darepora Lolab Kupwara on his 13th martyrdom anniversary, who was a prime founder of Peoples League. Gh. Mohi-u-din Najar was arrested by the Indian police and remain under detention for continuously 06 years. Mufti Najar was killed outside TADA court Srinagar by Indian Task Force in 2000.  Spokesman peoples league imtiyaz reshi said  senior hurriyat leader and executive member hurriyat conference and chairman peoples leage Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has send his message from police station share  bagh islamabad  said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be taken to its logical conclusion, despite all odds. Waza said that Kashmiri martyrs centre-staged Kashmir dispute at the international level. Waza emphasizes that India has converted the entire south Asian region into a dangerous zone due to its state terrorism and  continous curfew added that the people of Kashmir were being victimized for demanding their inalienable right to self–determination. He maintained that no power on earth could deter them from continuing their liberation struggle.
   He said that Kashmiris liberation struggle was genuine and based on the principles of justice. Waza urged India to honour the commitment made by its leaders with the international community to give the Kashmiris the right to decide their fate themselves.
   
  Meanwhile spokesman of peoples league imtiyaz reshi has strongly condemned the continuous detention of their chairman Mukhtar waza  and said his health condition is not good facing black motion and other diseases  reshi also demand the body of Shaheed Afzal Guru to his family and  appealed to whole leadership  to unite for the sake of martyrs it was Guru last wish and by unity we can defeat anti Indian elements.

February 19: Senior APHC Leader and Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples
League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza was arrested by Anatnag police and lodged
in Sherbagh Police station Islamabad after SHO Islamabad raided his
residence.
 JKPL Chairman, Mukhtar Waza deplored that India was not allowing the
Kashmiris to adopt democratic and peaceful means to secure their right
to self-determination.
JKPL strongly condemns the arrest of APHC leader and party chairman
and said that the Indian authorities had enacted this drama to prevent
the liberation leaders from reaching out to the people. Party
spokespersom Imtiyaz Reshi said that the mother of Mukhtar Shab is in
critical condition and police arrested him depicts inhuman face of
policing.
Jkpl demands international rights bodies to probe Kulgam incident
Srinagar, February 19:  jkpl  today while expressing
sorrow and apprehension over the death of 55 years old lady in Kulagm
during a siege and search operation in Quimoh Kulgam, demanded
international human rights organizations to take a serious note of the
human rights violations done by the security forces from last six
decades including the fresh one that happened yesterday in kulgam.
Waza said that Indian security forces are continuously committing
grave human rights violations and international human rights
organizations and community has a role to play for bringing an end to
these daily routine human rights violations done by the Indian
security forces in Kashmir valley.
He said due to the continued rights violations in the valley from the
binging, valley people were forced to dispare, killed, tortured and
especially the women folk got worst affected as number of ours sisters
and mothers were raped and killed. He said that Indian forces are
involved in grave human rights violations but till time no involved
men was prosecuted or punished that clearly exposes the cruel face of
India.
He said that the after the secret execution of Shaheed Mohd Afzal
Guru, forces in Kashmir have lashed a region of terror and during the
nocturial raids they have arrested more than 300 youth and also
imprisoned Hutriyat leaders and leaders have been denied to carry out
political activities in the valley.
He said that India can somehow curb the kashmiri freedom struggle by
using gun and force but can’t suppress or end the movement.  He
demanded the return of mortals of Shaheed Mohd Afzal Guru  and said
that to full fill the demand of family kashmiri will continue to
support them. He also deamended early release of all people who have
been detained during past days.

Srinagar,  dec 07 Jammu Kashmir Peoples League spokesman imtiyaz reshi has strongly condemned the illegal detentions of   Chairman  peoples league and Executive Member of APHC, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza  and other leader  Shabir Ahmad Shah sahib , Nayeen Ahmad Khan and inoceant youths in different police stations and jails and in police station the health condition of Mukhtat Ahmad Waza is very critical and party is very upset about chairmans health Reshi  said government of India is trying to muzzle the voice of innocent Kashmiri people by force and state barbarisms in Kashmir.  “On one side India is claiming ‘o’ tolerance but on the other side human rights violations in the state are being done by security forces and other agencies of India that goes unnoticed every day. The movement of Political leaders is being restricted and they are not allowed to  raise their voice .”  And pro.freedom leadership is facing every sort of oppression at the hands of india and its logical collaborators for more than six decades as the government is pressurizing local populace to face action. has said that the people of Kashmir have been deprived of their birthright to self-determination for the last several decades.
   Kashmiris to determine their future by themselves but they were being deprived of this fundamental right from last 65 years, during which lakhs of Innocent Kashmiri people laid these precious lives, thousands were torchered in intragration centers, Kashmiri young girls were reaped resulting greave human rights violations in the valley and very recently thousands of unmarked graves were found in the valley that itself are evidences of the human rights violations done by the Indian  govt and  recently hanging Afzal Guru    has paid for the sins of  innocents  and proves double standard of Indian govt with respect with kashmiri people  Reshi said Kashmir has became exhibitions of human right violations done by Indian forces  is a shameless act of cowardness.  
He said that Kashmiri Innocent people from last 66 years are demanding Right to Self determination peacefully and democratically guaranteed by United Nations but they are still denied and hence the resolution of Kashmir issue is pending, resulting grave human rights violations, Killings and bloodshed in the Himalayan bounded Kashmir valley that still going on.
 , so international community should think on the issue seriously and they should take a step for the resolution of Kashmir issue according to the resolutions guaranteed by United Nations.”  Reshi said, adding that international community should pressurize the nuclear countries for the resolution of Kashmir issue while leaving economic interests aside.  

He appealed international community including human rights watch to take a serious notice of the situation prevailing in Kashmir from last 65  years.

Reiterating his demand for demilitarization, Waza said, “Immediate and complete cessation of military and Para-military actions against the civilian population in Jammu Kashmir, withdrawal of military presence from the towns and villages, dismantling of bunkers, watchtowers and barricades, release of political prisoners and annulment of draconian laws are must for the protection of life and property of people.”
Mukhtar Waza pointed out that the international human rights organization had been calling upon India from time to time to stop rights abuses in the territory but these pleas had been falling on deaf ears.

Kashmir has became the exhibition of human right violations people’s league .
According to the statement of peoples league spokes man imtiyaz reshi has strongly condemned the restrictions and arrested of senior executive member and chair man of peoples league Mukhtar ahmad waza  in an statement of peoples league imtiyaz reshi said Mukhtar ahmad waza arrested from his residence before four days and shifted to police station sharebagh Islamabad  and nobody was permission to meet him. As already  Mukhtar ahmad waza was not feeling well and he is already suffering from certain diseases reshi has strongly condemned and criticized the authorities for using  brutal forces   on kashmiri people and whole Kashmir has converted in to police state and it looks like whole Kashmir is like a big person and Kashmir has became the exhibition of  human   right violations.

Waza acclaims OIC for backing Kashmir cause, appeals European Union to

Srinagar, February 08, 2013: Jammu and Kashmir People’s League
Chairman and Executive Member of Hurriyat conference (M), Mukhtar
Ahmad Waza hailed (OIC) organization of Islamic countries for backing
Kashmir cause and said that the organization has role in resolving the
problems confronted by Muslim nations in the world.
Addressing Friday congregations at Jamia Masjid Pulwama, Mukhtar was
welcomed the reaffirmation showed by OIC in 12th Cairo summit and said
that the decision will definitely prove fruitful if continued with
commitment.
“OIC has reaffirmed support to Kashmir cause and Pakistan has played
again their role and showed their willingness for the peaceful
resolution of Kashmir issue by putting forward the Kashmir issue in
Cairo summit.” Waza said, adding international pressure is building on
end for the resolution of Kashmir issue, as being the nuclear flash
point in the south Asian region it has endangered whole peaceful
atmosphere of the sub- continent.
He said that international community has also tried to facilitate
India and Pakistan for the resolution of Kashmir issue but every time
India backtracked from the process and with the result Kashmiri people
are still being deprived of their basic rights.
“Norway also tried to facilitate India and Pakistan but India ignored
the mediation of Norway and hence couldn’t yield any results.” He said
while appealing European Union to back Kashmir cause by pressurizing
India for the resolution of Kashmir issue according UN resolutions or
for result oriented dialogue process.
He also hailed the concern showed by OIC for the human rights
violations and discovery of unmarked graves in the valley and said
that Jammu and Kashmir People’s League has always appealed
international community to visit and take a serious note of the
violations done by Indian security forces in the valley during past
six decades.
He said that Kashmir being political issue also needs to be resolved
on humanitarian grounds as because of the issue Kashmiri people have
suffered a lot. “Sufferings due this issue isn’t something new for us,
we have been giving scarifies from past six decades, we are being
killed, our sisters are being raped, molested, number of people have
been forcibly disappeared while as others have been killed in
intragration centres.” He said, adding Kashmri people will continue
so, till Kashmir gets resolved peacefully.
He paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Maqbool Bhat and said that he gave
his life for Kashmir cause and till lakhs of people have given
scarifies for a mission that we have to complete, while appealing
people to safe guard these martyrs who have internationalized Kashmir

Waza welcomes statements of Pakistani President and Prime Minister Hails Pakistan for their continuous support to the Kashmiri people




Srinagar, Feb 05: Executive member of All Parties Hurriyat Conference
and Jammu and Kashmir People’s League Chairman, Mukhtar Waza today, on
the eve of Kashmir solidarity day welcomed the statements of Pakistani
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime minister Raja Parvez Ashraf, in
which they have assured continuous support to Kashmiri for securing
birth right ‘right to self determination’. He also thanked Government
of Pakistan, Pakistan Political Parties, Pakistani intelligentsia and
especially Public for observing Kashmir solidarity day every year.
Addressing party meeting in Dooru Shahabad after expressing condolence
 to the Alsafa Reporter, Hilal Ahmah whose sister-in-Law died before
days said, “Pakistan has right from the begging supported Kashmir
indigenous struggle for securing right to self determination. They
have supported us morally, diplomatically and politically so we can’t
sideline the role that Pakistan has played and is commented to play
peacefully.” Adding the statements of Pakistani President Asif Ali
Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pravez Ashraf are highly appreciable
statements that will encourage Kashmiri people at large for securing
birth right.
He also welcomed the stand of Pakistan and promise made by the
Pakistani Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf in which he has said that
the Kashmiris would continue getting whole-hearted moral, diplomatic
and political support from Pakistan for their struggle and Pakistan
will stand by them until the realisation of our demands.
He thanked other organization who observed Kashmir Solidarity day in
various foreign countries including Britain. while endorsing the role
of Pakistan, he said that Pakistan as role in South Asia and can
pressurize India by the support of international community for the
resolution of Kashmir issue that is pending from last six decades,
according to the United Resolutions.
Addressing the Party activists,  he said that Peaceful Kashmir
settlement can only bring peace in south Asia and appealed party
activists to continue their activities amid to strong the indigenous
movement for securing right to self-determination.  He said that
Kashmiri People have given unparallel scarifies for the cause and the
movement will be taken to its logical conclusion besides all odds of
Indian barbaric system, aimed to suppress the movement. He said that
Indian can somehow suppress the Kashmiri People by their barbaric
tact’s and can kill the People but they can’t kill the sentiment of
Kashmir people.

Mukhtar Waza lauds Pakistan for observing Kashmir solidarity day

SRINAGAR, FEB 04, 2013: The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), a
constituent of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, has thanked the
people and government of Pakistan for their continued moral,
diplomatic and political support to the Kashmiris’ liberation
movement.

The JKPL leader, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, in a statement in Srinagar said
that Pakistan had always been encouraging the people of Jammu and
Kashmir to continue their struggle for securing their inalienable
right to self-determination.
He said, “By observing Kashmir solidarity day, Pakistan is again
highlighting the lond pending issue and reminding them that the peace
in whole south Asian region can established only if Kashmir issue gets
resolved in accordance with the resolutions passed by the United
Nations.”
Mukhtar Waza hailed Pakistanis for observing 5th February as Kashmir
Solidarity Day, every year. He appealed to the Kashmiris to pray for
the stability and prosperity of the country because a strong Pakistan
was vital for the success of Kashmir movement.
