JKPL pays tributes to martyrs
Srinagar, March 29:
Jammu and Kashmir people’s League chairman Mukhtar Ahmad  Waza  today paid glowing tributes to Kashmir martyrs and expressed solidarity and sympathy with their families.
In a press statement, Party spokesman said that a delegation comprising Mohd Ashraf Sofi, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Tahoor Ahmad and Ghulam Ahmad Mir, on the directions of Party Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza visited the residence of Shaheed Ishfaq Majeed Wani and paid glowing tributes to him on his martyrdom anniversary.  They also paid tributes to Dr Abdul Ahad Guru,Adv Jaleel Indrabi and Shabir Sidiqi.

Meanwhile Party while remembering Mohd Ilyas Wani (Sarnal Islamabad) Fahad Hussain Jan (Kadipora) Mohd Ayoub Bangroo on their martyrdom anniversary paid glowing tributes to them. They said that all three martyrs were martyred by CRPF in 1990 on 31 of March.
Srinagar, March 29: Stressing upon the Kashmiries to show complete
resolve towards the mission of martyrs who laid their lives for the
cause, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Saturday asked people
that such political missions can be achieved through unanimity of
thought, consistency and commitment towards the freedom struggle.
Hurriyat paid rich tributes to Jaleel Andrabi, Ashfaq Majeed Wani,
Shabir Siddqui, and Dr Abdul Ahad Guru on their martyrdom
anniversaries and organized a special prayer session for them at
martyrs Grave Yard Iddgah. Senior Hurriyat leaders led by Javaid Ahmad
Mir, Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam, Engineer Hilal Ahamad War, Syed Salim
Geelani, Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi, Hakim Abdul Rashid, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi,
Syed Bashir Andrabi, Farooq Ahmad Saudagar and Jaffer Kashmir termed
the sacrifices offered by the towering resistance leaders as priceless
asset of freedom struggle.
While addressing the session, senior Hurriyat leader, Javaid Ahmad Mir
(JKLF Chairman) said that sacrifices offered by Kashmiries have
brought Kashmir into international limelight and thus importance to
resolve the Kashmir dispute was felt more than urgent by the world
community.
Mir also said that by sacrificing their lives, the martyrs have show
complete resolve and commitment towards freedom struggle, adding,
Kashmiri leadership and people have shown and are continuing to offer
their lives for the cause. He said it was important that people should
remember sacrifices and show their commitment to strengthen the
freedom movement.
The leaders on the occasion said Hurriyat was active on political and
diplomatic front on local and international level to solve the lasting
Kashmir on permanent basis.

Srinagar, Mar 28: The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) Mukhtar Ahmad Waza while addressing a mammoth gathering at Mattan Akora Islamabad after Friday congregation prayers said Kashmir Issue is the World Recognized issue in general and in United Nations in particular. He said through the resolutions of UNO or tripartite talks the long pending Kashmir issue can be solved. Waza was accompanied by Gen Secretary Muhammad Ashraf Vaid. 
Stressing upon the tripartite talks, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said history is witness that the long standing disputes throughout the World have been resolved through the dialogue process.
“However dialogue process with India is difficult until the innocent people lodged in different jails will not be released. Ahead of so-called Elections the arrest of youth and detention of Pro-Freedom leaders is sheer condemnable,” said Waza.
 Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that at a time when the people of India were passing though an important phase of electing a new dispensation in New Delhi and Indian mainstream parties were presenting their election manifestos before the electorate of inida, the need of the hour is that the people of India recognize the perils of the pending Kashmir issue and stress upon their leadership to take measures to solve this issue which has held ransom the peace, progress and stability of this region.  Adding that 40 percent of Indians are living under miserable poverty even as the defence expenditure has already crossed the mark of 48 billion dollar, it was further stated that the Kashmir issue was the main cause of instability in south Asia and also the main source of continuous tension between India and Pakistan.

Waza condemns attack on Jail inmates in Tihar, paid glowing tributes to martyrs

Jammu and Kashmir people’s league chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today condemned attack and assault on Kashmiri jail inmates in Indian Tihar Jail by criminals.
In a statement issued today, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has appealed international human rights organizations, protecting rights of jail inmates all over the world to take a serious note of the attack and assault on Mohd Shafiq in Tihar Jail before few days and press authorities to ensure safety and security of Kashmiri detainees in Indian jails as well inside state jails. He said that people’s league has ever since risen over the issue and authorities weren’t providing the facilities to jail inmates as per the jail norms.
“Recent attack on Kashmiri jailed youth in Tihar is an example of the ill treatment meted out to Kashmiri prisoners in Indian jails.” Waza said, while demanding inquiry into the incident, punishment to culprits and ensuring safety, security of the detainees.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza also glowing tributes to frontline freedom fighters and intellectuals who laid down their precious lives for just cause of the Kashmiri nation, including Advoacte Jaleel Indrabi, Ishafq Majeed Wani, Shabir Sidiqi and Dr Abdul Ahad Guru.
He said that martyrs have laid down sacrifices for a noble mission which can’t be ignored or underestimated, however the responsibility of taking martyrs mission to its logical conclusion lies on our shoulders. He pledged to accomplish martyrs mission and retreated his call to fight peacefully till Kashmir gets resolved as per the aspiration and wishes of Kashmiri people which they are expressing since Indian occupied the state illegally.
Meanwhile, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza remembered veteran journalist Tahir Muzter, on his first death anniversary and expressed solidarity and sympathy with the family.

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, pays glowing tributes to sameer ahmad zindan on his 16th martyrdom anniversary ,Waza said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will not be allowed to go waste and their mission will be accomplished at all costs.

Sameer Ahmad was arrested by the Indian forces and killed in custody on this day in 1998 at busporah soura area.

Speaking in the meeting, waza said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs had centre-staged the Kashmir dispute at the international level. He reiterated the pledge to continue the liberation struggle, despite all odds. The APHC leader urged India to eschew its stubbornness and take steps to settle the lingering dispute. He said that New Delhi had failed to suppress the voice of Kashmiris by force since 1947. He demanded withdrawal of Indian troops, release of political prisoners and annulment of draconian laws. Indian Government is tiring to suppress the moment of kashmiri people by force and kashmiri people has always produce security to all religions in Kashmir and in future also Waza said whenever there was some progress towards the resolution of the dispute
through peaceful means, anti-Kashmir, anti-movement and anti-people elements. He deplored that
certain individuals and agencies got unnerved
and resorted to such dastardly acts to thwart the process.

Peoples league expressed condolence and solidarity with Hasan-ul-Bana
Chairman Peoples League Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has paid glowing tributes to the mother of Hasan-ul-Bana. Waza expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family and said she was a pious, God fearing lady and has given countless sacrifices during the movement.

Peoples league chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today greeted entire Pakistani Nation on the eve of ‘Youm-e-Pakistan.’Waza  thanked people of Pakistan and their ruling classes for giving their moral political diplomatic support to Kashmiri  people .on the eve of Pakistan day  Waza has prayed for the elevation status of Pakistan Mukhtar Waza expresses confidence that Pakistan will continue its political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris’ just struggle for right to self-determination. Mukhtar Waza emphasized that the government of Pakistan was of the firm opinion that peace and stability would elude South Asia till the Kashmir issue remained unresolved. Waza pointed out that Pakistan had a historical and unique role vis-à-vis the Kashmir dispute and the country had been extending wholehearted political, diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmiris’ struggle for their right of self-determination.

KASHMIR FREEDOM STRUGGLE CANNOT BE CRUSHED BY MILITARY MIGHT PEOPLES LEAGUE

India has murdered its democracy itself on the other hand pro freedom leadership is denied all its rights; they are being harassed, arrested, jailed, tortured and subjected to every kind of oppression. Therefore intimidating them by the threats of jails and arrests cannot deter them from pursing the pant of freedom and truth. meeting chaired by pl chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and  attended by party general central council members that was
 Wise Chairman Nazir Ahmad Khan 2nd wise chairman Farooq Ahmad Dar  state General sectary Mohd Ashraf Vaid,  general sectary 2nd Gulam Qadir Rah Cheif Spokesman Imtiyaz Ahmad reshi provincial president Shakeel-ul-Rehman,
 
  chief coordinator Gulam Mohd Mir, Distrcit president Srinagar   Shabir Ahmad
Bhat,  engineer Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, Tahoor Ahmad , Master Maqbool   Mulvi Javed, Javied Ahmad Wani,
abdul Ahad Qadri and others.
During the meeting party chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza discussed recent
political cum social developments of the state.
While concluding the meeting, Chairman People’s League, Mukhtar Ahmad
Waza said that the party is itself a movement whose mission is Win,
Freedom and Islam. He directed all its central counsil members and
district representatives to get in touch with people and strength the
roots of party on all levels.
Central council members also supported chairman and said that they
will not allow any body to defame the party by one or the other means.
Party Chairman, Mukthar Ahmad waza briefed party leaders and activists about the present political situation of region and it was observed that party that has played an important role in internationalizing the decades old Kashmir issue.  

Party leaders and activists during the meeting expressed concern over the state terrorism under which police and other security agencies were arresting Youths on fake charges. They said that India can distract people from the freedom struggle through such brutal tact’s and said that they will continue to support Kashmir movement peacefully.

Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, while addressing the meeting said that the freedom movement of Kashmir is at its important stage and stressed upon party workers, leaders and activists to intensify its activities and reach out to people who has laid their lives and property for the Kashmir freedom cause.

Constructive dialogue can pitch Kashmir resolution: Waza

Jammu and Kashmir People’s League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today said that a constructive dialogue between three parties involved in Kashmir conflict-Kashmiris, India and Pakistan will pave a way for peaceful settlement of Kashmir dispute.
Addressing party meeting in Kulgam Waza, who was accompanied by Party vice Chairman Nazir Ahmad Khan,  spokesperson Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, political adviser Jafffer Kashmiri, Shabir Ahmad said that Kashmiris are peace loving people and are part of global culture. “It’s the reason the people of Jammu and Kashmir who have rendered unparallel sacrifices wants the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue.” Waza said, adding international community is bound to show seriousness for its resolution which can guarantee peace in South Asian.
Castigating upon state government human rights violations by the Indian security forces in all fours of Kashmir to which killing 17 years old Shafat Ahmad in Naaidkhai is the recent example. He said that Indian security forces have been let ‘trigger happy’ by the political authorities of New Delhi through the draconian laws like AFSPA and PSA. This is has been the bounden demand of naïve Kashmiris that the probe should be carried for the killing of innocent people in Jammu Kashmir by international organizations like Asia Watch, amnesty international and other such like bodies under the aegis of United Nations. Waza rejected the probe offered by state government and termed it just an eyewash.
Waza said that people’s league has never been against dialogue but it should be meaningful result oriented with the element of sincerity to focus on peacemaking rather than peacekeeping without any polemics or procrastination. He said that after 1989 both the indo-Pak countries have accumulated Nuclear weapons, so both the countries involved in conflict can gave birth to a nuclear war if Kashmir issue remains unresolved.

He appealed international community to play its role in Kashmir resolution if they want peace to prevail in the region.

Indian forces brutality not only eye opener for the whole Kashmiri nation but particularly for state collaborators and main stream politicians who help India in its anti-freedom policy and oppression as already the land of Kashmir is marked with blood sheds and walls are colored with the blood of youths and hundreds of localities in Kashmir has been converted in martyrs grave yards thousands in numbers kashmiri youths are disappeared the whole responsibilities of these incidents are upon Indian government and present collation in Kashmir we know that we will never prevail justice from Indian Judiciary system and so called investigations are only to time pass on this occasion leaders demand to investigate this brutal killing through a international tribunal court leaders also raised anti Indian slogans and freedom slogans and demand punishment of killers involved in incident.

 Indian government has given free hands to armed forces to kill innocent people of Kashmir,  PL Condemns continuous detention of Mukhtar Waza.
Srinagar,  mar 16  Jammu and Kashmir Peoples league Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza  was arrested   by police  yesterday and was detained at his residence but today police has shifted him to   police station Sharebagh, Islamabad.
Party Spokesperson imtiyaz Reshi  has strongly condemned and criticized the puppet authorities for  continuous  detention of  waza   and not allowing party chairman to pay tributes  to martyrs. He said that such tactics being done the oppressive rules only to curb the ongoing freedom movement in the state.He castigated police for lashing state terrorism and curbing the movement of peaceful Hurriyat leadership including Party Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza. He said that Waza is suffering from black motion diseases since from last one weak.
“On one side government of India is claiming to be world’s largest democratic country but at the same time they under the grab of democracy in Kashmir continue to violate human rights by killing people brutally, continue to do oppressive tacts, etc. So today’s oppression on innocent kashmiri people should became an eye opener for international community and they should come forward for the early resolution of Kashmir issue.”
He said that Kashmiri Innocent people from last 66 years are demanding Right to Self determination peacefully and democratically guaranteed by United Nations but they are still denied and hence the resolution of Kashmir issue is pending, resulting grave human rights violations, Killings and bloodshed in the Himalayan bounded Kashmir valley that still going on.
, so international community should think on the issue seriously and they should take a step for the resolution of Kashmir issue according to the resolutions guaranteed by United Nations.” Waza said, adding that international community should pressurize the nuclear countries for the resolution of Kashmir issue while leaving economic interests aside.

 India wants to muzzle the voice of innocent people in Kashmir. Leaders said in Kashmir India has being adopted the policy of Noxious  Israel  wherein genocide is being done by the hands of cruel armed forces. Waza said the walls of Kashmir have been colored by the blood sheds of youths by forces and whole Kashmir looks like a big prison.

  Meanwhile jkpl spokesperson has strongly condemned the house arrests and detention of leaders Mukhtar ah waza ,javaid ah mir and detention of Hilal ah war in kothi bagh police station waza was arrested at doru  shahbad road and detained at  his residence  and mir was detained at home as he was taken to police station but his family members  revoke on police  as  done   few day before his eye  surgery and police also raided the house of imtiyaz reshi to arrest him but  he was not at home spokes  and a delegation of peoples league today was on a way to Naid khah but they were detained at sopore and shifted to police station Amargad the delegation was compromised with shakeel u rehman, Molvi Riyaz ,Javaid Ahmad and others peoples league has strongly condemned the crackdown on hurriyat leaders and termed it as worst kind of state barbarism.

Waza expressed sympathy with JKLF activist spokesperson jkpl imtiyaz reshi.
Srinagar, March 14, 2014: Jammu and Kashmir Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today expressed sympathy and solidarity with the family Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front activist Mustaq Ahmad Kuchay whose 11 years son died due to heart attack yesterday.
Waza accompanied by party vice chairman, Nazir Ahmad Khan and party General Sectary Mohmmad Ashraf Sofi today visited the family and expressed solidarity with the family. He said that death of 11 years old Zuhab Mustaq is great loss for the family and appealed them to show highest level of patience at this moment.
Addressing a mourning gathering, he blamed Kashmir conflict for the miseries facing, people of the Jammu and Kashmir and urged India-Pakistan countries to come forward for its early and durable solution. He said that Zuhaib’s death after Pakistan Victory in a cricket match shows how much love and respect Kashmiri have for Pakistan and said that it is only because Pakistan as a nation has since 1947 supported Kashmiris freedom struggle on moral, political and diplomatic levels.

Jammu and Kashmir People’s League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today said that the early resolution of Kashmir issue through peaceful means could transform South Asia as a region of economic prosperity.
In a press statement, Waza said that it is the Kashmir dispute due which whole south Asian region especially parties involved in the decades old conflict-India Pakistan are suffering from poverty and others problems while as the Kashmiri people itself are the worst sufferers of the conflict because of Indian oppression and loot of resources.
He said that if the issue of Kashmir is settled once and for all it can surely pave a way for economic prosperity for the whole region especially the countries who are in arms race and are spending much of their of defense budget will be get lion’s share and prosper double just in a couple of years.
“Its Kashmir conflict that effects whole south Asian region as its effects are not limited to Pakistan and India but the repercussions are felt in the entire region, as well as the world at large," he maintained.
He said Kashmiris were among the first to be promised their right to self determination by the international community through unanimously adopted UN Resolutions. However, more than half a century later these commitments remain unfulfilled. So, peace would continue to elude South Asia till the international community honors its commitment. 
Waza urged Indo-Pak countries to come forward for the early resolution of Kashmir issue besides appealed international community to fulfill their promise without any further delay.

According to Peoples league spokesperson imtiyaz Reshi  peoples league chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has seriously concern over the health condition of  veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, peoples league leaders today  organized a prayer  sit for the  early recovery of the veteran leader  The leaders who sit on prayer occasion among were besides peoples league leaders javaid Ahmad MIR JKLF CHAIRMAN and peoples league leaders including Farooq Ahmad Dar, Ghulam Qadir Rah,Imtiyaz Reshi, Tahoor Ahmad , Shabir Ahmad Bhat , Mohd YOUSF Captain and other leaders it was organized at Soura Srinagar leaders pray for the speedy recovery of veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani.

Mean while peoples league has paid a glowing tribute to  syed Gulan Nabi Shah the  brother syed salahudin Gazi  a delegation of peoples league compromised with Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi , Shabir Ahmad Bhat, Tahoor Ahmad  AND Mohd YOUSUF captain visited the residence of late  syed Gulan Nabi Shah  were they  expressed sympathy and solidarity with thebereaved family. Special prayers were also held for the departed soul and  paid a glowing tribute to buried soul and said the sad family has contributed a countless sacrifices for Kashmir cause

Waza Put under House detention Spokesperson of Jammu and Kashmir peoples league Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi   has strongly condemned

Jammu and Kashmir People’s League - JKPL, Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza was today put under house arrest. Party spokesman imtiyaz reshi said that a heavy contingent of police raided the house of Chairman at Kadipora Islamabad in the morning and put him under house detention.

Spokesperson of Jammu and Kashmir peoples league Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi   has strongly condemned and criticized the authorities and stressed upon world’s top human rights watch dog ‘Amnesty
International’ whose team is currently visiting the valley to take a
strong notice of the grave human rights violations done by the
security forces under black and draconian laws, enforced by them in
the valley. He also stressed up western media to overcome from their
double standards and play role is resolving the issue that grantees a
permanent stability in the South Asian region,   In a press statement,  reshi said that Kashmir issue is lingering from
last six decades and during these decades especially from last  65
years Indian authorities by its armed forces, just to continue their
illegal occupation of the territory, committed grave human rights
violations that include brutal killings, custodial killings, sexual
harassment, enforced disappearances and fake encounters that are
evident after the discoveries of unmarked graves in the valley and
hence Amnesty International and other human rights organizations have
to mount pressure on  India for probing these violations in
international crime tribunal.

Suspending and booking Kashmiris students exposed communal face of Indian” Waza
Urges international community to intervene for safeguarding student’s future

Jammu and Kashmir People’s League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today condemned booking of Kashmiri students by UP police after they were Suspended Meerut's Swami Vivekanand Subharti University just for cheering Pakistan's victory against India during a cricket match and said that the act of police and university authorities have exposed the real communal face of India.
Waza in statement said that tall claims of safety for the people of Kashmir stand exposed too as Kashmiri people are continuously being subjected to suppression inside and outside the state for which state puppet authorities are majorly responsible.
He said that suspending and now charging students with serious crimes like sedition just for celebrating any countries win in cricket exposes India’s communal and racial bias. He said that cricket is a global game and everybody is free to support a team or a cricketer which he likes. He said that maximum Indian professional crickets love players of England and Australia Team but they were charged with sedition like crimes.
Mukhtar Waza said that People’s League has ever since maintained that people of Jammu and Kashmir especially our youths are not safe anywhere in India. He expressed serious concerns over the issue of Kashmiri girls dancing in Army’s Bengal Headquarters and appealed parents to remain vigil about anti-freedom movement. He said that taking daughters on tour through so called Sadbavan is a policy to encourage vulgarity in Kashmiri society vis-a-viz to down our moral values.
Waza urged international coummnity to take a serious note of harassment and exiling of Kashmiri students from different universities so that academic future of these students may be safeguarded.

He also paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Tahir Rasool on his 1st martyrdom anniversary and expressed sympathy and solidarity with bereaved family. He also expressed sympathy and solidarity of UJC Chief Syed Sallhu-Din on the sad demise of his mother –in-law. He prayed for the deceased soul. Meanwhile senior party leaders including Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and Jaffer Kashmiri today visited several areas of Srinagar City and met different delegations political and social workers. During the visit party leaders discussed different issues related to Kashmir issue and human rights violations with them who assured full support in highlighting both issues viz-a-viz strengthening the party roots. Leaders accompanied by Senior APHC Leaders including Hakeem Abdul Rashid and Syed Bashir Indrabi visited JKLF chairman, Javed Ahmad  mir who has gone through eye surgery.

 Peoples league chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza  expressed his regret and grief over the sad demise of Syed Abdul Majeed Shah of Barapathar, Batamaloo, who happens to be the maternal uncle of Media Advisor APHC Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam. Expressing solidarity with Shahid-ul-Islam and other bereaved family members,A delegation of peoples league by the advice of chairman Mukhtar Waza visited Barapathar, Batamaloo, for paying glowing tribute to late Syed Abdul Majeed Shah delegation was compromised with Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Shabir Ahmad Bhat and others  and offered special prayers for the deceased to grant him space in Jannat.
Meanwhile a delegation of peoples league today visited Florence Nursing Home for seeing the health of senior hurriyat leader and jklf chairman Javaid Ahmad Mir as the Doctors has advised him to do   surgery of his eyes at  Nursing Home peoples league delegation was compromised with Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, jaffer Kashmiri  and Shabir ahmad Bhat  were they  pray for the early  recovery of health of javaid shab.
