SRINAGAR, JULY 31, 2013
The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People’s League Mukhtar Ahmad Waza,
while paying tributes to the great sacrifice of Shaheed Azeemat Sheikh
Abdul Aziz, and eulogizing his contribution to the freedom struggle of
Kashmir.
He said that he and his 72 associates, who laid down their lives for
Kashmir in 2008 uprising, will never be forgotten, and the people of
Kashmir ultimately, will see the sun of freedom shining over Jammu and
Kashmir, although India may create obstructions in the way of the
people’s march towards their cherished goal.
Sheikh Aziz was ascribed to be amongst the frontline Pro-freedom
leaders and was one of the Executive Member of All Parties Hurriyat
Conference (APHC) - which represents the aspiration of Kashmiris
politically, diplomatically and socially besides Chairman of Jammu and
Kashmir People’s League. He was shot dead Indian armed forces 11 of
August 2008 at Boniyar Uri, when he was leading a peaceful protest
march against the economic blockade from Indian side
He said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed
to go waste and their mission would be taken to its logical
conclusion. “Kashmiri martyrs centre-staged Kashmir dispute at the
international level.” He said
Waza reiterated that mission of martyrs Shaheed.e.Azeemat, Sheikh
Abdul Aziz will be taken to its logical conclusion despite all odds.
He said that the martyred leader remained dedicated to his mission
till the day of his martyrdom.
He said that “Right from 1947, India has been trying to suppress the
voice of Kashmiris by force. But neither they succeeded in the past,
nor they would in future,” Mukhtar Waza pointed out that the
international human rights organization had been calling upon India
from time to time to stop rights abuses in Kashmir but these pleas had
been falling on deaf ears.
He said that despite its repeated claims of Zero tolerance, India
failed evidently and also never succeeded in giving any kind of
punishment to the troops involved the rights violations neither any
investigation they started completed till this time.
Waza appealed to the international community particularly the United
Nations to take cognizance of the atrocities being committed by Indian
troops against innocent people of Kashmir.
Meanwhile Jammu and Kashmir People’s League chalked out a week long
programme to pay tributes to great martyr Sheikh Aziz and his 72
associates and said that the week will be observed on APHC (M) Plate
forum. According to the week long programme death anniversary of great
martyr of Kashmir, Sheikh Abdul Aziz will be observed on 13th of
August instead of 11 August, in view of Eid. Death anniversary of the
leader will be observed by conducting a seminar at APHC head quarters
in Srinagar under the chairmanship of Mirvaiz Molvi Umar Farooq.

Waza castigates state authorities for arresting innocent youths, lashing terror

SRINAGAR, July 27, 2013:
 Jammu and Kashmir People’s League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today castigated state authorities for lashing a reign of terror among valley youths after arresting them during nocturnal night raids. Meanwhile on his directions party high level delegation headed by senior leader Shakeel-ul-Rehman visited the family of Farhan Bukhari who was martyred by Indian forces on 28th of July in 2010.
Waza said that after the Gool Ramaban massacre, Indian security forces have lashed a reign of in Kashmir by arresting hundreds of youths during nocturnal raids and have imprisoned them without any fault. Expressing solidarity with those families whose youths has been arrested from past several days waza said that it will not help Indian authorities to stop kashmirs from demanding their birthright ‘right to self determination’ . He appealed international human rights watch dogs to take a strong note of the present situation of Kashmir. 
Reacting to BSF report that have fired upon protesters in ‘self defense’ Waza said it was nothing new for kashmirs as the troops involved in the killings of innocent kashmirs continue to repeat the same theory from last over 63 years and hence self defense theory is there traditional one. 
“BSF killed peaceful protesters in Gool Ramban alike others massacres which the Indian armed forces did but time and again they repeated the same self defense theory. But world community knows that what a peaceful and unarmed protester can do?” He said. 
He also expressed solidarity with the rape victim of Kistwar and appealed authorities to punish the village defense members involved in the case. 
Meanwhile on the directions of Party Chairman, a party delegation Comprising Shakeel-ul-Rehman, Javed Ahmad, Hilal Ahmad, Molvi Javed Ahmad and Sareer Ahmad Bukhari today visited the family of Farhan Bukhari , a mass communication pass out in Kreeri Baramullah , who was martyred by Indian armed forces on 28thof July in year 2010 after arresting him. Delegation paid glowing tributes to Kashmir martyrs including Farhan and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family. They castigating authorities for implicating his father in a baseless case and demanded his early release. 
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza also paid glowing tributes to the martyr and expressed sympathy with the family.

New Delhi can’t muzzle Kashmir freedom struggle by military might: Mukhtar Waza
Srinagar, July 20, 2013
Jammu and Kashmir People’s league chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza while condemning Gool Ramban massacre, today said that New Delhi and state sponsored terrorism can’t muzzle the ongoing freedom struggle. He appealed international community to help Kashmiris in getting rid from the Indian bondage and oppression.
Waza who along with pro-freedom leadership continues to be under house arrest, paid glowing tributes to those who fell the bullets of Indian security forces in Gool Ramban area while striving Indian tyranny and desecration of the holy Quran.
He said that the history of Kashmir is full of massacres from the date when Indian armed forces occupied state illegally and they continue its process of killing innocent people while as the world powers act as the mute spectators. Ridiculing the double standards of international community, Waza said that they were looking Kashmir situation through New Delhi lenses and hence worst kind of India’s oppression gets unnoticed. He said that Kashmir freedom struggle is legal and the resolutions passed in United Nations form its strong bases, so international community is appealed to take a strong notice of the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir and help the helpless people in getting their birth right ‘right to self determination’
He also appealed United Nations and other human rights organization to depute their teams as early as possible as to get the first hand information about the state that has been caged and turned into a jail. He said that curfew has been clamped and people are facing numerous problems especially those in hospitals or ill. He said that pro-freedom leadership has been arrested and people are not being allowed to hold peaceful demonstration against the Gool Ramban Massacre.
Criticizing the probe ordered by Indian home minister, Waza said that a single trooper involved in the human rights violations and massacres happened since 27 October 1947 was not punished and a single investigation has not been completed by Government of India besides claims of Zero tolerance. Reminding Indian Prime Minister of his commitment of showing zero tolerance in the state, Waza said that India is misleading world by its false propaganda.
Appealing people to protect the martyr’s mission, Waza reaffirmed that the mission of those who laid their lives while striving Indian bondage will be taken to its logical conclusion.

Peoples league along with people  from adjoining areas of soura 90 feet staged a protest demonstration against the alleged desecration of Holy Qur’an and  killing of innocent people in Gool and pl spokesperson condemns waza arrest and others.
Peoples league today  staged a peaceful protest  demonstration  against  the alleged desecration of Holy Qur’an and  killing of innocent people in Gool  at adjoining areas of soura 90 feet a huge gathering of people  participating in protest demonstration was chaired by peoples league leaders Imtiyaz Reshi ,  Ajaz Wani and Tahoor Ahmad ,protesters raised  Islamic  solangs The protesters   demanding action against the personnel involved in the sacrilege and killing of innocent civilians   in Gool  . They also  demand for an impartial probe into the killings while Reshi said they were trying to march peacefully towards lal chock but police and crpf foiled the protest by force and beat hundreds of people in protest and use of smoke guns  peoles league has strongly condemned  and criticizing the police for foiling peaceful protest  and house arrest of party chairman Mukhtar waza .

Waza condemns Ramban killings
Jammu and Kashmir People’s league Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today
condemned the killing of peaceful protesters in Ramban area terming it
cool blooded murder of the civilians protesting against the
desecration of holy Quran.
He appeals people to observe a complete shutdown and protest against
the gruesome killings. Waza termed it another massacre said people of
the state have only one option to protest against the aucrocities done
by the Indian security forces. He appealed United Nations to help
people in this phase of turmoil as the state terrorism has lashed
reign of terror among the people and killings continue to take place
from 1947. He said that Ramban killings have now added another
chapter to the barbarism of Indian authorities.
He paid glowing tributes the peaceful protesters who fell the bullets

Jammu and Kashmir people’s league today while appealing international
community to play its role in steeling amaicabliy Kashmir issues said
that killings kashmiris inside or outside state and curbing the
movement of pro-freedom political leadership shows the frustration of
India and its puppet authorities in the state.
Waza, accompanied by party leaders and activists including Gulam Qadir
Rah, Shakeel-ul-Rehman, Jaffer Kashmiri, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Javed
Ahmad and others expressed sympathy and solidarity with the families
of slain youths at Nawa Bazar Srinagar and Ganderbal who died
mysteriously in Indian states, Mumbai and Rajasthan respectively.
Delegation also expressed deep sarrow over the sad demise of Muslim
Conference’s General sectary Advocate Abdul Rashid, who died due to
heart attack yesterday.
Waza addressing the mounmers at Nawa Bazar Srinagar said that killing
kashmiri yoths outside state and inside state shows frustration of
India and Indian authorities. He said that lives of kashmiri people
are not safe inside the state neither outside the state. “Kashmir is
world’s highest militarized zone how can we assume that our lives are
safe in the state, our past and present is like a mirror in front of
us, our youths are being killed, jailed, our intelligentsia is being
targeted we know how many doctors, intelligent lawyers, scholars,
pro-freedom politicians we lost during past 23 years, our sisters were
raped and killed so our lives are not safe neither inside state nor
outside.” He said.
He said that raising killing incidents of kashmiris outside the state
has lashed a terror among the people of the valley whose wards are
getting education or are employed in Indian states. “everyone is
afraid because of these killings so Indian authorities if they can’t
safeguard the lives of kashmiris outside state should open others
options for them, like issuing passports to them so that they can get
education and employment in any corner of the world.”
Criticizing India and its authorities in the state for curbing the
movement of pro-freedom leaders in the sate waa said that its claims
of being democratic country prove to be a hoax in the state.
He appealed international community to play its role in bringing down
the human rights violations done by the Indian armed forces as well as
in resolving Kashmir issue as the aspirations of kashmiri people.
Waza also visited the family of departed Muslim Conference general
sectary, Advocate Mohd Ashraf who left this world yesterday. Waza
while expressing his satisfaction over the role played by Mohd Ashraf
in ongoing freedom movement said, “Advocate Mohd Ashraf being a noble
and intelligent political leader has played important role in the
ongoing freedom movement which the nation can’t undermine.”

Ahmad Waza has strongly condemned the killing of   innocent  business man of kalamdarporah in Mumbai and a student of Ganderbal namely Aadil at Rajasthan    
Party  chairman  While paying to glowing tributes to  both martyrs  party
chairman has said that the Indian authorities are deliberately and
intentionally targeting the think tanks of Kashmir right from 1947 and
have killed our scholars and intelligentsia during which they have
killed hundreds of doctors advocates, and scholars like  these besides common people have faced inhuman face of India like they faced
during the colonial rule in their country. He said that they targeting
the pro-freedom intelligentsia with an aim to suppress the ongoing
movement but they will not get any success as the valley is giving
birth to bright and pro-freedom children.Waza said once again it has proved that kashmiri is not safe in India.
He expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and said that  is a great loss to Kashmir  A delegation of peoples league compromised by Senior pl leader Ghlam Qadir Rah, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and Jaffer Kashmiri visited the kalamderporah and paid a glowing tribute to said.
 
Meanwhile  according to the spokesperson of jkpl Mukhtar waza has feel deep sarrow over the sad demise of Genral setary of Muslim Conference late Advocate Mohd Ashraf and  expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family. Mukhtar waza arrested during procession to Martyrs graveyard on the eve of martyrs day 13 july 1931



Peoples league chairman arrested by police at kardiporah Islamabad according to spokesperson jkpl Waza sahib was on the way to lead the procession on the eve of Martyrs day and was scheduled to assemble at Martyrs Graveyard were the leader was going to pay tribute to 1931 martyr’s but when waza sahib marches towards Martyrs Graveyard Reshimal sahib police stopped waza and did not allowed him to go and later on police arrested waza and shifted him to police station sharegardh Islamabad .Spokesperson of jkpl Imtiyaz Reshi has strongly condemned and criticized the Government for doing such tactics .
Another Procession at soura Area was leaded by senior pl leader Imtiyaz Reshi which paid a glowing tribute to 1931 martyr’s at Martyrs graveyard Awanta bhawan soura this Procession was scheduled 10 am from malik sahib masjid but due to police action it was later changed as already Hakeem Abdul Rashid was arrested by police at late night on this occasion pl leader speaks to huge gathering and said martyrs has centre staged Kashmir issue at global level and also paid a glowing tribute to martyrs.On this occasion He said that kashmiris have never accepted any kind of slavery and

tributes to the martyrs of July 13, 1931 who laid their lives for the
freedom of Kashmir and appealed people to join the party rally from South
Kashmir’s Islamabad district on the eve of martyrs’ day and make the APHC’s
Program a successful.

JKPL Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza addressing Friday congregrations at KMD
Jamia Masjid, paid  glowing tributes to 1931 martyr’s and urged people
reaffirm the oath of taking Kashmir freedom mission to its logical end.

“13 july has the significance of marking the beginning of the ongoing
freedom struggle. On this day the Kashmiris for the first time raised their
voice against the atrocities perpetrated by the Dogra rulers on them and 22
persons offered supreme sacrifices of their life. The ongoing freedom
movement is the continuous process of that struggle and it will continue
till Kashmir gets resolved.” He said.

He said that kashmiris have never accepted any kind of slavery and have
resisted against the authorities of the rulers. He urged people of the
state to reaffirm the oath of taking Kashmir freedom movement to its
logical conclusion.

H appealed people to join the procession of Hurriyat leaders in every hook
and corner of the valley on the eve of martyrs’ day and assemble at Martyrs
Graveyard.

He said that resolution of Kashmir issue was imperative for the stability
of whole south Asian region and world community should pressurize both the
countries for the implementation of UNO resolution or meaningful talks. He
said that on the name of dialogue process India is trying to sabotage
Kashmir issue. “Indian PM from last ten years is laying and doing tact’s to
sabotage the issue but kashmiri people who have scarified their lives for
the issue will not allow him to do so and they continuo fight peacefully
for the resolution of Kashmir issue.” He said.

Meanwhile party chairman visited the house of jailed 19 years old
youth in Sherpora Islamabad who is suffering from lung problem and has
been implicated in grenade attack. He expressed concern over the
cruelty of authorities and said that youths like Irshad Ahmad who has
been poisoned in Kotbalwal jail is worst kind of human rights
violations as the victim is facing lung problem since jailed.
Waza also addressed a gathering of mourners in Donipawa area of
Islamabad were a qualified married youth died who was working as
labour in a stone plant in the area. Deceased Showket Ahmad is served
by two kids and wife he was having done masters degree but was
unemployed whom forced him to work in stone plant. Waza expressed
solidarity with the bereaved family.

SRINAGAR, July 11: Jammu and Kashmir People’s League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today visited Akura Mattan were yesterday Indian troops ruthlessly beat up locals including a driver. He condemned the highhandedness of troops and said that such type of right violations by the Indian security forces needs to be notice immediately as the forces have lashed a region of terror among the people which affects the day to day life of common masses.

Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, who visited families whose family members were yesterday beaten by troops without any justification and expressed sympathy with them. He also visited the family of driver who has been shifted to SKIMS in a critical position.

Terming the incident as grave violation of human rights, waza said that it is unfortunate with kashmri people that they have to prove there identify in its own state for which they have given unparallel scarifies. He said that Kashmiri people are living insecure life from past six decades and troops under the grab of draconian laws are killing people that goes unnoticed.

He also expressed concern over the double standards of international community with regard to Kashmir issue and said, “International community is also maintaining double standards over the issue by not pressurising Indian authorities to stop the atrocities done by the troops as well as for resolving Kashmir issue.”

He said that UNO should positively intervene for the resolution of Kashmir issue so that peace in south Asian region prevails.

Jammu and Kashmir people’s league Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad who today along
with a party delegation comprising PPF Chairman Mohd Musadiq Adil, Gulam
Qadir Rah, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and others were arrested on way to Sumbal
and were lodged in police station Sumbal.

Delegation was scheduled to visit the families of two youths martyred by
Indian army during a siege and search operation.

Peoples League senior party leader Shakeel-ul-rehman who along with party
activists Bilal Ahmad, Hial Ahmad, Javed Ahmad, Khursheed Ahmad visited the
breaved families castigated the authorities for arresting party chairman
along with delegation. He condemned the police action and said that
political space for the hurriayt leaders is being shirked on the directions
of puppets.

He also condemned the innocent killings and expressed solidarity with the
families of martyred families. He termed the civilian killings as barbaric
and cowardly acts on part of Indian army and Indian state terrorism.

Meanwhile party chairman in a press statement, Mukhtar Waza paid glowing
tributes to Irfan Ahmad and Irshad Ahmad and said that killing innocent
people under the grab of black laws like Armed Force Special Powers Act.
(AFSPA) and others are worst kind of human rights violations that continue
from last 1947.

“Under the garb of AFSPA and other black laws, the troopers enjoy impunity
and are authorized to kill any Kashmiri and go unaccounted for crimes they
commit,” Waza said, adding killing kashmiris or intensifying state
sponsored terrorism is no more solution to the Kashmir problem as the
people of the state have laid their precious lives for sacred goal that is
the resolution of Kashmir and will continue to.

He said right from 27 the October in 1947, Indian security forces under the
grab of different black laws continue to commit heinous crimes and human
right violations but not a single force’s responsible for the rights
violations was booed or punished.

He urged United Nations to implement its resolutions on Kashmir without
further delay as Indian will keep Kashmir’s situation volatile.  “For the
implementation of UN resolutions on Kashmir current situation in the state
is much conducive and UN should implement its resolutions on Kashmir issue
without any further delay as it is fact that Indian because of the fear of
losing illegally occupied state,  will continue to keep the situation
violate by killings and other human rights violations . So it is better
that kashmirs may be given their basic right ‘right to self
determination’.” He said.

He expressed deep sorrow and extended his sympathies and condolence to the
bereaved families and mourners. He paid glowing tributes to the martyrs.

Jammu and Kashmir People’s league Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today a led a delegation of senior hurriyat leaders and party leaders. Delegation comprising of People’s Political party chairman Mohammd Musadiq Addil, Senior People’s league leader Gulam Qadir Rah, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi,  Eng Fayaz ahmad and other, paid glowing tributes to martyrs of tral who laid their lives before couple of days for the freedom of Kashmir.
Scores of youths assembled at different three locations of tral/ outside the residences of martyrs raised slogans in favour of Islam and freedom   they raised slogans against Indian and it’s illegal occupation. Waza while addressing the gatherings reaffirmed that the martyrs mission will taken to its logical conclusion.
He said that martyrs of kashmiri youths centre staged Kashmir issue however he decried the double standards of international community in supporting peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue. He said that international community is watching the bloodshed done by the Indian authorities silently that can lead to destruction not only for India and Pakistan but for the whole south Asian region. He again appealed once again especially United Nations organization (UNO) to implement its resolutions on Kashmir and pressurize both the countries for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue.
Waza said that kashmiri youth besides get top level education are taking up arms to fight against the illegal occupation and atrocities of Indian rule is the clear cut message for India that India and its rule in Kashmir is unacceptable. He said that international community is bound to respect the sentiments of kashmiri people on humanitarian grounds.
He said that atrocities’ done Indian army like killing our youths, molesting our sisters can’t back hold the aspirations of people. He said that kashmiri will continue its fight aginst the Indian rule till Kashmir issue gets resolved.

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, has strongly condemned the house arrest of chairman peoples league Mukhtar Ahmad waza and meanwhile spokesperson of jkpl Imtiyaz Reshi has pays glowing tributes to Mohd Yousuf Hazari alias Muzamil on his 17th martyrdom anniversary, has said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will not be allowed to go waste and their mission will be accomplished at all costs.
According to the spokes person jkpl Imtiyaz Reshi said by the advice of pl chairman Mukhtar Waza has finalized the 3july programe with respect to shaheed Muzamil Sahib on 3july 10am fateh khawani will be at martyrs graveyard eid gah and after that 11am a program has managed by peoples league to pay homage to shaheed Muzamil at his residence Karfali Mohallah
peoples league has appealed to all hurriyat parties and people to participate in the program as mentioned .
Muzamil sahib was arrested by the Indian forces and killed in custody on this day 3 july in1995 at karfali mohallah srinagar area.
