According to the peoples league spokes man police along with crpf raided the residence of Senior Hurriyat leader and chairman of peoples league Mukhtar Ahmad Waza as already Waza sahib was busy in srinagar were he was leading a party meeting police harassments the family of Waza sahib at Islamabad. As soon Waza came back from srinagar police raided again the residence of Waza at 11pm and kept Waza sahib under house arrest , .Party spokesman   has strongly  condemns and criticized the house arrest and  restrictions of chairman  pl Mukhtar Waza    and  said  on one side India is claiming bigger democracy  and on other side they   are doing such tactics    

  Spokesman said by arresting and raids India cannot muzzle the voice of kashmiri people and their will be no compromise till to achieve our goal right to self determination.

Attach on Shabir Ahmad Shah is attack on whole kashmiri leadership peoples league,

Srinagar, June 26:  According to the spokes man peoples league imtiyaz reshi said senior hurriyet leader and leader of peoples league Mukhtar Ahmad Waza    have expressed deep shock and sorrow over the fire that broke out at the historical shrine of Hazrat Peer Dastgeer Sahab (RA) at Khanyar here on Monday gutting it completely.
  and  demanded impartial probe into the incident and cautioned the people against rumours, urging them to maintain unity among themselves to foil the “evil designs of enemy.”

A thread bare discussion of peoples league  was managed  at srinagar and chaired by senior hurriyet leader Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and attented by senior pl leaders Imtiyaz Reshi, Mohd Maqbool Sofi, Farooq Ahmad Dar Gulzar Ahmad Katju, Rouf Kashmiri and others   Waza termed the incident an unbearable loss to the Muslims of Kashmir.
Expressing profound grief and sorrow over the incident, the Jammu Kashmir  peoples league termed it “our national loss and tragedy.”
“This tragic incident has pierced out hearts and caused us deep grief and sorrow,” said  waza in a statement today,   He has appealed to the people to maintain unity in their ranks to scuttle the nefarious designs of divisive and mischievous elements. “The conspiracy is aimed at offending the religious sentiments of Muslims and damaging the ongoing peaceful freedom movement,”

Meanwhile spokesman of peoples league has strongly condemned the attack on Senior Hurriyet leader Shabir Ahmad Shah and Nayeem Ahmad Khan and said that attack on them near Khanyar was a preplanned move.  and described it as a handiwork of familiar faces who are donning robes of Azadi.
 “It was a pre-planned attack.   Reshi said  They are wearing the robes of Azadi but are involved in anti- movement activities.   reshi said, “They wanted to frighten  leadership  but let me remind them we have full faith in Allah. Imtiyaz reshi said India is trying to muzzle our freedom struggle of Kashmir by force and state barbarisms in Kashmir Reshi flays police ‘threat’ to dislodge Sopori peoples league

Srinagar, June 2 5: Senior  -freedom leader and  spokesman peoples league Imtiyaz Reshi  on Monday voiced concern over the reported police action asking Peoples League leader GM Sopori to vacate from his Srinagar residence, describing it as a “step fraught with dangerous consequences.”
 In a statement here,  Imtiyaz Reshi warned Government of India that “this move will have serious repercussions and would be resisted tooth and nail.”
 “Sopori has been told by Police to leave his residence which is his legal property. This is a shameful incident, reminiscent of Israeli history. Now Government of India has also adopted the same policy so that Kashmiris are left alone without any leader. Dislodging Sopori is a first step in that direction,”  Reshi  alleged.
 Reshi assured Sopori that he “should not feel alone but the entire pro-freedom leadership and people are with him.”
 Reshi said India is  trying to muzzle our  freedom struggle of Kashmir by force and state barbarisms in Kashmir
 “Pro-freedom leadership is facing every sort of oppression at the hands of India and its local collaborators for more than six decades. But by the cooperation of common people on ground, the leadership has always proved itself firm on its political stand,” Reshi said.
 

 He said that the Indian armed forces  on the shades of this black laws are continuously committing
human rights violations in Kashmir from last  64 years.
“Killing common Kashmiri has became a habit of Indian forces and on
daily routine people are being killed in fake encounters,
interrogation centers, road accidents etc.” adding that forces also
involved in rape, molestalations and other criminal cases in Kashmir
that have not been probed by any agency till  time.
 He said that the Kashmir has became an exhibition of human rights
violations, done by the Indian army were one can see every kind
brutalities faced by the Innocent Kashmiri  people.
 He appealed international community including human rights watch to
take a serious notice of the situation prevailing in Kashmir and of
the violations took place from last 64 years.
 He maintained that the Kashmir issue is the main issue of South Asia
and its resolution of the issue is need of the hour and peace in south.

Time to unite Peoples league under one banner: JKPL imtiyaz reshi.

if we claim we are the voices of kashmiri people therefore it is need
of hour to have fully public support because people of Kashmir has
badly suffered during 64 years so they want a durable solution for
Kashmir issue  the solution  should based on the aspiration of people
The PL leaders unanimously decided to carry forward the efforts for
resolving the Kashmir dispute through peaceful means and reshi
maintained that pro-liberation leadership and the people of Kashmir
with their unity and political vision would defeat the conspiracies of
anti-Kashmir, anti-movement and anti-people elements. He deplored that
whenever there was some progress towards the resolution of the dispute
through peaceful means, certain individuals and agencies got unnerved
and resorted to such dastardly acts to thwart the process. Reshi said we reject every readymade solution which will less than our birth right  Right to self determination, On this
occasion   Pl also decided to make pl strong at
organization level and it was decided to do door to door organization
so that to come closer with the people kashmiri people had given lot
of sacrifices and they need a healing touch.  Imtiyaz Ahmad  Reshi
thanking Pakistan for the moral, political and diplomatic support for
the Kashmiri moment. We hope that the Indian people, too, ensure that
their government implements the promise made by late prime minister
