Waza appeals international community to probe HR abuses, LOC killings
World safeguarding economic interests rather than humanity
SRINAGAR, Aug 30:
Jammu and Kashmir people’s league chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today
appealed international community to probe the human rights violations
committed by Indian troops and the killings on Line of Control that
have endangered the peaceful atmosphere of south Asian region.
Addressing Friday prayers in Anantnag district, Waza paid glowing
tributes to the martyrs of Kashmir and expressed solidarity with those
families whose near and dear ones laid their lives for the freedom of
the nation.
Referring to international day of disappeared persons, Waza said that
how pathetic and painful is it that despite passage of years, world
powers claiming to be respecting humanity all over the world have kept
dual standards over the issue of human rights abuses in the valley
since 1947. He said that people of the state have left no corner of
the world unaware about the human rights abuses done by Indian armed
forces but it seems that the humanity claimers are interested in
economy than human values.
Worst type of human rights violations ranging from tortures, extra
judicial killings to enforced disappearances took place in Kashmir and
due to suppression and oppression disappeared person’s families are
economic, psychological and social problems that need kind and
immediate attention towards these families.
Waza said that cold response and attention from the world community
has left kashmirs in dilemma and it seems that in this world there is
no one who can save kashmirs from the oppression of India.
Lashing out at India, Waza said that India is trying to curb the
ongoing freedom movement by using draconian laws and their forces are
enjoying the impunity to kill, harass and ransack the possession
without being questioned and the tragedy was that the burden of proof
shifts on the victims. He demanded early revocation of black laws and
probe by international community in the human rights violations done
by armed forces in the valley.
Commenting on the LOC tension, Waza said that incidents taking place
on the line of control are being observed by UN military observer
group besides latest technology like high definition cameras etc, so
it the duty of UN observe group to probe the killings incident if they
want to peace prevail in both countries. He appealed India and
Pakistan to stop blame game and provide space to international
community for a fair probe as the tension all along LOC can put both
the countries in trouble.
Waza appealed people to kept the freedom conscious alive and continue
to support the movement as the movement was the mission of martyrs
that will taken to its logical conclusion.

waza appealed to world to break silence and show positive approach in view to provide justice to the families of disappeared persons

Jammu and Kashmir peoples league chairman Mukhtar Ahmad waza has show sympathy with the families of disappeared persons, waza appealed to world to break silence and show positive approach in view to provide justice to the families of disappeared persons,

Kashmir observes International Day Of Disappeared Persons, on 30th August  it demands only to prevail justice to these families but world has not show seriousness towards these victimized families Waza has strongly criticized the role of world towards human right violations done by Indian forces in Kashmir.

In Kashmir, 8000 to 10000 cases of politically motivated disappearances, families of Disappeared Persons continue to be victimized and traumatized by years of chronic conflict. And conditions have reached a stage where loss would be measured in terms of generations rather than years.

Enforced Disappearance has been described as one of the most heinous crimes that humanity has experienced. Amnesty international describes it as a cruel Human Rights violation, as it violates the rights of person who has disappeared, and of those who loved them. In majority of the cases enforced disappearance starts with the illegal detention, arrest, or abduction by army, police and informal-militia, and then the state denial and concealment of same. Such a situation often denies victims the access to justice and places them outside the protection of laws.

While Government pays lip service to their commitment to Human Rights, they continue to use national security to justify violating the rights of Kashmiris.
Waza said we demand early juditional report and justice to these victimized families

gust time:9.00 P.M
The geographical area of Jammu Kashmir is 2,22,236 Sq.Kms, its invigorating climate shelters peace, equality, brotherhood and fragrant humanism which welcomes the visitors .The odorous surrounding remain embodied within the soul of a tourist for a pretty long time who enters in the vale and unbelievable tickle remains afresh in the soul even if one leaves its climes long, poet says ‘Zara Zara ha Meray Kashmir ka Mehman Nawaz:Rah Mein Pather Ke Tukdon Nay Diya Pani Mujay’[Every particle of my Kashmir acts like a host, even roadside stones quenched my thirst].But after the end of very long enslavement the decision to divide British India into two dominions India and Pakistan on the basis of two nation theory . Naturally Jammu Kashmir was the part of Pakistan unfortunately India on the basis of military might occupied whole of the territory on 27th October 1947, the then Viceroy Lord Mountbatten helped India on the basis of Redcliff, the Chanakayan Indian Politicians made this tricky affair to justify the occupation but the dispute issue became a festering wound and ;engulfed 25 million people spread in the whole sub-continent . The Congress party of India tried to occupy Jammu Kashmir by adopting the policy of deceit and tried to deceive the people but when people openly began to voice their opinion against : it took a dangerous turn and became the migraine like headache for whole of the South Asia .However in 1948 Indian Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru said, ‘If people of Jammu Kashmir chose to secede from India and want to go with Pakistan ,I shall accept it’ But India in order to control the situation and continue its illegal occupation on Jammu Kashmir used various methods by signing so called agreements with a lot among the public who were claiming to be the representatives of the people of Jammu Kashmir as a result people became helpless by dependence and despair; this new kind of coercive helplessness which bound them in the chains .In reality the so called agreements could neither solve the Kashmir issue nor Kashmiris gave up hope but India and Pakistan engaged in bloody battles which took lives of millions . The cost amounted to millions and billions in terms of arms , ammunitions and property simultaneously people of Jammu and Kashmir rose up against Indian oppression ;reacted alongside the agreements and packages .Thus quelling the wishes of suppression by strongly resisting the suppression and oppression . Indian imperialists in order to crush people , hold hostage the wishes and aspirations of people by the mode of one million armed forces. The followers of Sita at the behest of their masters adopted Israeli policy in Kashmir by converting Paradise into inferno. In 1989 the brave younger generation of Jammu Kashmir rose up once again against India under the flag of plebiscite in the deserts and woods impressing upon the people of the world that Kashmir is a disputed territory and India has occupied Jammu Kashmir illegally on the basis of military power. The Hurrriyat leaders along with the people are struggling against Indian imperialism and make a strong appeal to the world of conscience that there should be plebiscite in Kashmir and ask for the birth right (Right to self determination ) .Let me ask the civilized society ;
Is it a crime to aware world Institutions about their birth right ?
By enslaving Kashmiris by the way of one million forces is it a justice?
As a result of which thousands of People and leaders acquired martyrdom like S.Hamid Chairman Peoples League , Mirwaiz Mohammad Farooq ,Dr. Qazi Nisar , Dr. Farooq Ashai , Dr. Ghulam Hassan , Dr.Abdul Ahad Guroo, Dr. A.A. Wani ,Abdul Gani Lone and others. Recently the discovery of unmarked graves scattered in some of places of North Kashmir and border areas of Jammu for which European parliament has taken a serious note and has asked for an independent probe ,eye witness to these like issues include Anaghen Chaterji ‘coordinator for international peoples tribunal of human rights’ who while on his visit to these places said that the dead bodies buried in the unmarked graves reveal that they might be among the ten thousand who were killed in the detention by Indian forces or were made disappeared and demanded for a an impartial enquiry from the agencies like UNO, Red Cross, ICRC and other Human rights organizations , so that the criminals are taken to gloves . Twenty thousand widows who are presently striving for food and shelter, one and half lac orphans are left to wander door to door more than 25 thousand ves. the nisation ands an independent international probe by the agencies like Amnesty International, Red Cross, ICRraves reveals that they are among the ten thousand who were killed ilegally ese places said that the erno bleeding desent adopted Israiel policy in kashmirwomen have been raped which is the testimony of the Government sponsored terrorism and it can be rightly called as official act of terror and barbarism. The Indian Government introduced draconian laws like POTA, TADA, AFSPA and others by their enforcement thousands of youth are kept in illegitimate detention which include Engineer Farooq Ahmad, Khan, Mohammad Qasim Faqtoo, Ghulam Nabi Najar, Gulam Qadir of Kupwara, Khalid Mehmood Pahalwan aged 55 years who is under trial since last 11 years and given life imprisonment of 85 years other thousands of young men are jailed inside and outside of Jammu Kashmir and are languishing in notorious Jails since decades . All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) believes that the Kashmir issue cannot be kept lingering or on back burner keeping in view the scarifies made by Kashmiris when Indians have agreed the issue in the world forums , why it is hesitant to negotiate, if at international level the solution of issue is being tried why India creates hurdles ;it is an acclaimed fact the India is trying to win a lost game because Kashmiris have given scarifies since last 18 years including women, children and elderly people numbering more than one lac . India has invented new methods of torture and terror. Every home has suffered and at least a family member has been killed at an average at least dozens of people are coffined for raising the voice of right every day . Every where Indian forces plundered, raped, molested, slaughtered and maimed naïve Kashmiris. The chastity of our sisters and daughters has been tarnished which has become now order of a day, the young men are abused and even some of them have been rendered handicapped , the writers have been jailed, intellectuals and lawyers killed, human rights workers have been disappeared after their arrest. So called security forces, notorious STF, SOG and VDC have been originated to perform coawyers killed, human rights workers have been disappeared after tndemnable task, India at present by not accepting the reality will be a much graver mistake. The harassment of freedom loving people to shun their bonafide rights, the massacring of people and New Delhi stooges have tried to justify the human rights abuses rendered by security forces deployed in Jammu Kashmir.
The freezing of rights of people by deceiving them and a murder of human values is what sort of justice!
We demand an Independent plebiscite under UN supervision so that a long lasting peace can be achieved in South-Asia. A new plot was made by shunning to shelves human values is what sort of justice! We demand an independent plthe so-called laws a making secret deal of sale of land in league with political intimidators. When Kashmiris came to know about the reality every body including children, old man, women and young people came to the streets and protested against India peacefully but armed forces resorted to conventional barbarism by killing dozens of innocent Kashmiris due to mounting pressure the then puppet Government withdrew the order. Indian agencies could not accept the defeat and in co-ordination with fanatic Hindus and their extremist organizations launching a vehement attack against Kashmiris and Muslims. Thus repeating the situation of 1947, now these fascists are attacking houses of Muslims -damaging their property and attacking the transporters thus implementing defacto economic blockade on the people of Jammu Kashmir especially to the majority of population paralyzing the handicrafts and tourist industry due to which Kashmiris have to incur a hue loss so-called security forces remain mute spectators. The chairman Peoples League Sheikh Abdul Aziz and his colleagues believe in equality and fraternity with the unification between the two regions of Jammu and Kashmir and will fight for the freedom of Kashmir till its dawn appears on the horizon. More than two dozen elections have been fought in Jammu Kashmir but have yielded no results except the accumulation of property in terms of cash and kind, a few who are the known traitors . Jammu Kashmir Peoples League is the firm believer of democracy but India has failed to fulfill her promise which she has made in United Nations Security Council for which 13th August 1948 and 5th January 1949 resolutions are the genesis to the issue. Therefore, election within the ambit of Indian constitution keeps no meaning hence Peoples League urges common stock of people living in Jammu Kashmir must completely boycott the forth coming assembly elections and express solidarity with the suffering people of Jammu Kashmir who so even supports the Indian sponsored elections eaning hence peoples league urges common stock of jammu lokade protestin Kashmir shall be treated as imposter of the freedom struggle.

Since 1947, Indian security forces just hold the illegal occupation on the territory; Kashmiris are being subjected to inhumanity and worst kind of repression during which Indian armed forces and various agencies got involved in gruesome human rights volitions that could hardly be found in any other part of the world. Killings, torches, forced disappearances, rape, molestation have been the tool of repression but from past few years Indian armed forces have invented new ways and brutal tactics to represses the freedom sentiment among the younger generation, hundreds were killed and thousands were jailed in the valley especially youths who participated and expressed their anger by participating in peaceful protests.
Parents of these youths, political prisoners and those who were forced to disappear are awaiting their return on every Eid but the repressor seems to have taken out their hearts. On Coming EID we again want to bring into the notice international community, India and its civil society those aftermaths of repression and demand;
1. Release Kashmiri political prisoners including Mushtaq ul Islam,Shakeel Ahmad Bhat,,Misbah nisar,Muzaffar Dar,Shafi sheryati on the eve of EID on humanitarian grounds.
