Peace is only possible in world when Kashmir issue is solved peoples league message on world peace day


 According to Spokesman peoples league  imtiyaz reshi  Senior  APHC excutive member  and  senior peoples league leader Mukhtar waza said today is peace day celebrated through out world at international level. Waza said, peace means justice but in Kashmir it is different  we are slaves from 64 years and we have lost one lakh  and fity thousand  above kashmiri people and about ten thousand youths has disappeared by forces and in thousand our youths are detained in different jails from years for no sin.Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that India is not sincere to settle the Kashmir dispute and is using delaying tactics. Waza said that the United Nations had accepted Kashmir as an international dispute and passed resolutions for its solution. “The intransigent stance of India on Kashmir is the main hurdle to resolve the long-pending dispute,” he added. He said that the lingering dispute could only be resolved through implementation of the UN resolutions and India must take concrete steps in this regard. “The people of Kashmir have never accepted the illegal Indian occupation and will continue their struggle to achieve their right to self-determination”, Waza maintained.


                                                                 On this occasion waza appeales   to world   powers like  America, UN, OIC and human rights organizations including Amnesty International and Asia Watch to put pressure on India to stop human right violations and settle the Kashmir dispute. Waza said peace is not possible in south Asiea till Kashmir issue is solved and justice will prevail in Kashmir  and it is then real peace day and if world ignores Kashmir issue they have no right to celebrate peace issue. “The settlement of the Kashmir dispute is imperative not only for South Asia but also for the world peace,” Mukhtar said, adding that the international human rights organizations are urged to send their representatives to Kashmir in order to take cognizance of the miserable plight of Kashmiri detainees languishing in different jails and interrogation centers, unmarked graves, extra-judicial killings, tortures, rapes and thefts
