Waza, Mir  and Reshi visited Flood hit Pampore, expressed sympathy with affectees
Srinagar, October 25: Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza along with Liberation Front Chairman, Javiad Ahmad Mir  along with senior jkpl leader Imtiyaz Reshi Saturday visited flood hit areas of Pampore town and expressed sympathy with the victims.
Dozens of party activists,were accompanying the leaders. During the visit, the APHC leaders expressed sympathy and solidarity with the flood victims whose residential houses suffered damage. APHC leaders hailed the efforts of youth of the area for taking a lead in rescue, relief and rehabilitation works. They were informed that youth of the area saved hundreds of drowning people and exhibited that Kashmiri nation is enough courageous and brave.
Leaders appealed local organizations and youth groups to continue relief and rehabilitation initiatives for the flood affected population and assured possible help to them.
They said that instead of providing any kind of help to flood affected Kashmir, Indian government while exhibiting its cruel face has blocked international aid and has not allowed any internationally community particularly delegations of Islamic countries to visit the devastated Kashmir.
“Besides the support of International community, Kashmiris are finding no one around them, which is only because of Narendra Modi who has blocked the international aid.” Leaders said, adding blocking aid exposed the inhuman face of Indian Prime Minister again.
They urged people not to forget the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs which they rendered from last over seven decades particularly from last 25 years. They appealed common masses to remain attached with the freedom struggle at this hour of grief also.
Terming the ‘Kashmir Million March’ an important initiative of Kashmir Diaspora, Leaders said that it will help in generating awareness among the citizens of western world, although Kashmir is internationally recognized dispute.
They said that it is the prime responsibility of Kashmiris residing in western countries to aware them about the consequences of Kashmir conflict which is a nuclear flash point in the south Asian region as the countries involved in the conflict are nuclear armed.
