 HCJK Paid rich tributes to Bijbehara Martyrs and resistance former commander Khaleel ur Rehman on their 23th Martyrdom Anniversary.
Expressing serious concern over the falling health of Yain Malik,HCJK.

Srinagar, October 23,  Hurriyat Conference jk convener and Muslim Conference chairman Shabir Ahmad Dar, ,Mahzi Azadi president Muhammad Iqbal Mir, International forum for justice chairman Muhammad Ahsan untoo, young men’s league chairman Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and Tehreeqi Istiqamat Chairman Gulam Nabi War in a statement to media    league has paid glowing tribute to former resistance Leader and Supreme commander Aljehad Khaleel ur Rehman and  Bijbehara  martyrs who fell to the bullet of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Bijbehara on October 22, 1993.HCJK Leaders said Khaleel ur Rehman was double M A in English and Arabic and was the prime member of peoples league earlier in 1970 he was also close aid of Shaheedi Azimat sheikh Ab Aziz.


Leaders said that Kashmiri martyrs sacrificed their lives for a sacred cause and the sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste. They deplored that no action had been taken, so far, against the killers of the innocent people  of
Bijbehara  despite passing of Twenty three years.
 
“The sacrifices of 1993 and even after that are assets for the movement and can never go waste. Who sacrificed their lives will serve as beacon light for the rest of us.”   Adding that Kashmir martyrs have center staged the Kashmir issue and because of the martyrs world on humanitarian grounds wants to resolve the issue.
They said that more than 51 people were martyred, hundreds of got injured by the BSF troopers in Bijehara on October 22, 1993,  when the people of the area held a peaceful demonstration against the siege of Hazratbal shrine by Indian Army
They said that the ongoing movement would be taken to its logical conclusion and appealed the international community, United Nations and world human rights watch groups to take a serious note of the human rights violations done by the security forces in the valley and to help resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with Kashmiris’ aspirations and relevant United Nations resolutions.
Meanwhile HCJK leaders has expressed serious concern over the falling health condition of Liberation front chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik  who has been shifted to SKIMS for advance treatment .leaders added Malik is unable to walk or sit properly. In absence of medical aid, his health condition has deteriorated. They demanded Authority to provide Yasin Malik medical aid  without any further delay and make his early release possible.
