Peoples League Leaders speaks to Eid Congregations in Jammu Kashmir


According to the spokesman peoples league imtiyaz reshi said , Senior  huuiyet leader  and chief paternal peoples League Sheikh Mohd Yaqoob while addresses the Eid parishioners at  Pakistan rawalpandi said that India had occupied Jammu and Kashmir through military might and Indian troops were committing gross human rights violations in the valley. Yaqoob  maintained that Kashmiris rendered the unprecedented sacrifices for their birthright to self-determination. He appealed the world community to put pressure on India to implement the UN resolutions on Kashmir so that the dispute could amicably be resolved. He said that Pakistan had been taking sincere and serious steps for the settlement of the conflict, however, he deplored that the rigid stance of New Delhi towards the dispute was the main hurdle in its peaceful solution. He urged the United Nations and its member states to impress upon India to stop rights’ violations in Kashmir. “The use of brute force by the troops cannot deter Kashmiris’ resolve to continue struggle against Indian bondage,” he maintained.

 Senior Hurriyat Leader and Acting Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza addresses Eid congregation at Kadipora Islamabad Jamia Masjid. While addressing the congregation Waza felicitates Muslim brethren on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr and urged people of Kashmir to observe this carnival with extreme austerity. Waza has urged people to pray for the elevation-status of Kashmiri martyrs.
Mukhtar Waza maintained that unfortunately, the people of Jammu and Kashmir were still kept deprived of right to self-determination and the promises made with them at international level were not fulfilled.  . “The  authorities can not suppress the Kashmiris’ liberation struggle through use of brute force,” he added. Waza said that the acts of Indian state terrorism perpetrated against innocent Kashmiris were aimed at silencing their just voice for right to self-determination, but the people of Jammu and Kashmir will continue their struggle for securing right to self-determination till its logical end.
Mukhtar Waza also urged the pro-freedom leaders to forge greater unity among their ranks to take the ongoing movement to its logical end.


In district Srinagar, senior peoples League leader Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and Ajaz Ahmad Wani while addresses the Eid worshippers at Soura paid homage to the Kashmiri martyrs and said that their sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste. They reiterated the pledge to offer all kind of sacrifices for taking the liberation movement to its logical conclusion. They, while strongly condemning the stepped up human rights violations and illegal detention of Kashmiri leaders and activists, appealed the international human rights organisations to take notice of state terrorism unleashed by to suppress Kashmiris struggle for right to self-determination. Stressing the need for resolution of the Kashmir dispute through meaningful dialogue, the speakers said that the fundamental party of the dispute, the true leadership of Kashmiri people should also be included in the talks. Fazl Haq Querashi were also present in the occasion.
