Peoples League will observe one day seminar in view of 1 4th Martyrdom Anniversary of S. HAMID WANI at Eid Gah on18 April


 

    An extra ordinary meeting of peoples league was managed at sub office srinagar  at Rajori Kadal by the advice of senior pl leader Mukhtar waza and  chaired by Senior  peoples league Leader  Imtiyaz reshi and haji Qadoos and attended by  senior pl leaders and central counsel members from all districs which include Shakeelu rehman,gazi Ab Rashid, Mohd Ramzan Wandroo,Advocate Ab Ahad Qadri,Gulzar Ah Katju,Mohd Yusuf Captain, Abdul Aziz Aahgar,peer yaseen, molvi irshad, jawed ah wani and Rouf Kashmiri and other pl leaders others Jammu Kashmir Peoples League decided to Conducted a seminar  to commemorate 1 4h Martyrdom of Shaheed-e-Inkilaab(Martyr of Revolution) S. Hamid at  Eid Gah on 18April  In the  meeting rich tributes were paid to the martyr who is ascribed to be amongst the frontline Pro-freedom leaders of 70’s and was one of the founders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC)- which represents the aspiration of Kashmiris politically , diplomatically and socially .
S Hamid Wani m Muhammad Bulla of Soporewas arrested by the Indian police and killed in custody on April 18, 1998 in Soura Srinagar,. Jammu Kashmir Peoples League said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be taken to its logical conclusion. While speaking in the colloquium senior  peoples league  Leader  Imtiyaz reshi said that Kashmiri martyrs centre-staged Kashmir dispute at the international level. He reiterated the pledge to continue the liberation struggle, despite all odds. Reshi said pl is not property of single person but it belongs to all martyrs who give their hot blood to this moment and pl is constitutional party and constitution will be prevailed. On this occasion reshi appealed to all fractions of hurriyet to participate in seminar on 18 april and peoples league will announce an important massage that day for the benefit of moment.

 ReshiSaid that . “Right from 1947, India has been trying to suppress the voice of Kashmiris by force. But neither they succeeded in the past, nor they would in future,” Mukhtar Waza pointed out that the international human rights organization had been calling upon India from time to time to stop rights abuses in the territory but these pleas had been falling on deaf ears.spokesman pl imtiyaz reshi.
