“Meeting between Pakistan President, Asif Ali Zardari and Indian Prime
Minister, Manmohan Singh in New Delhi is a good omen and it should be a
continued process, However both the countries should include genuine
leadership of Kashmir into the process for the early resolution of long
pending Kashmir issue according to the aspirations of innocent kashmiri
people.” Waza said, adding that the permanent peace in the region and
friendly relations between Pakistan and India could not be ensured without
resolving the dispute over Kashmir in accordance with the Kashmiris’
aspirations.

He said that the permanent peace in south Asia lies in early resolution of
Kashmir issue for which Kashmir people have given uncountable scarifies and
blood and have gained international recognition.
