Srinagar, October  15: All Parties Hurriyet Conference leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has demanded total withdrawal of Indian troops, repeal of draconian laws and immediate release of all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders and activists. Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, addressing Juma congregation at Dooru Shahabad in Islamabad town, said that Kashmir was a political dispute and should be resolved politically through meaningful tripartite talks.

He stressed inclusion of true leadership of the Kashmiri people in the dialogue process between Pakistan and India, as without their involvement talks might not succeed. He said that Kashmir was an important dispute that had created uncertainty in the entire South Asian region because it was between the two nuclear powers of South Asia.

He maintained that India wanted to perpetuate its occupation of Kashmir by putting Kashmiri youth behind the bars and killing people randomly. He pointed out that gross human rights violations would continue till the presence of Indian troops in the valley.

The APHC leader said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir had been rendering unparalleled sacrifices for the past over six decades to secure their birthright to self-determination and their sacrifices would never be allowed to go waste.spokesman peoples league imtiyaz reshi,
