Waza welcome Britain decision, reminds United Nation, Kashmir issue
“Ill treatment to political prisoners,  violation of international laws”

 According to the spokes person of peoples league imtiyaz reshi Executive member of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (M) Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today while welcoming the decision of Britain in which they have decided to held referendum in Scotland, remained United Nations Kashmir dispute, a nuclear flash point in South Asia, appealed them to apply their resolution on Kashmir and settle the 64 years old issue, for which Kashmir innocent people have laid their lives.
Mukthar Waza, while addressing Party meeting that was attended by its leaders and workers Srinagar said, “Britain decision of holding referendum in Scotland is positive change on international level and its world community is paying keen interest in resolving disputes that can endanger the peaceful atmosphere of the globe.” Adding that on humanitarian grounds, world community should play its role in Kashmir dispute.
He said, “International community has accepted the gravity and importance of Kashmir Issue and they Know that peace will not prevail in South Asian region till Kashmir gets resolved peacefully.” Adding that world community especially United Nations should come out and apply its resolutions on Kashmir that they have passed from time to time, on which Kashmiri innocent people are fighting their political war and for which they laid their hot blood.
He also appealed the India Political heads to leave their rigidity on Kashmir issue and held a plebiscite in Kashmir that allows Kashmiris to decide their future.
Mukhtar Waza expressed serious concern over the ill-treatment meted out to jail detainees in Udamphur Jail and said, “Ill-Treatment to political prisoners is the blatant violation of international laws as jails are for the safeguard of prisoners.”  Adding that world community especially human rights watch should take steps in this regard and also appealed Amnesty International to pressurize Indian Govremnet for the early release of Political prisoners lashing in different jails so that they can celebrate Eid with their families.
