JKPL expresses grief over road accident on National Highway
Srinagar, Mar 01 –2013: Hurriyat Executive Member and Chairman Jammu
and Kashmir People today expressed grief over the sad road accident on
Srinagar-Jammu National Highway claiming precious human lives of young
persons of Chari-sharief. On the direction of party chairman Mukthar
Waza, a party delegation visited Charie Sharief and expressed sympathy
with the bereaved families and prayed for peace to the departed souls.
Meanwhile party chairman who is under house arrest since from days
after he released from Sherbagh Police station, castigated state
government for restricting curfew like situation in the valley by
imposing undeclared curfew. He said that the valley has been converted
into police state and the government is trying to muzzle the genuine
demands of Kashmiri people in which they cannot get any success at
all. He alleged on main stream political parties that they are using
Indian media for their dirty politics for diverting attention of
people who are demanding the mortal remains of Shaheed Mohd Maqbool
Bhat and Mohd Afzal Guru. He said that the demand of family is genuine
as they have right to demand and hence People’s League will continue
to support them till they get the mortal remains of Shaheed Mohd Afzal
Guru who laid his life just for the Kashmir cause that have made
people hostile since from the decades during which Kashmiris were
killed, raped, torchreed and forced to disappear.
