Peoples league chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today addressed public gathering  at shopian outside jamia speaking to people waza said the Indian oppression spelled so much blood that colored the earth to red centre has provide license  to force in the shape of black laws like Afspa and forces are using these black laws as tools to kill kashmiri innocent youths waza said people of shopian has given uncounted sacrifices kashmiri people has been kept in big prison in presence of  seven lackh forces  killing kashmiri people has become the routine of forces in Kashmir.The  continued imposition of curfew and indiscriminate use of force by Indian police and troops and arrest of teenagers had been going on in the valley but such repressive tactics couldn’t stop Kashmiris from continuing their just struggle Waza during speak has strongly condemned and criticized Government for converting Kashmir into police state the Indian forces for doing brutal action on common kashmiri people Kashmir have lashed a region of terror waza said  peaceful resolution of Kashmir will be in the interest of both countries India and Pakistan . Friendly relations between  Pakistan  and India are necessary for development in the South Asian region and peaceful solution of the Kashmir dispute is a pre-requisite for it. He said that permanent peace in South Asia was impossible without the settlement of the long-pending dispute over Kashmir.

Waza demanded an end to unlawful arrest spree and halt to gross violations of human rights by Indian troops in Kashmir.
