Rich tributes paid to Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz on his sixth martyrdom anniversary
JKPL organized special prayers session at Martyrs graveyard;under the banner of APHC Mukhtar Ahmad Waza urged rebel party leaders to come back

Jammu and Kashmir people’s league today organized a special prayers session at Martyrs graveyard on the eve of sixth martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz. Hundreds of Pro-Freedom activists and Leaders participated in the paryeres session and paid glowing tributes to Martyrs of Kashmir particularly to Martyred party Chairman, Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz.
Senior Party Leaders including Mohd Ashraf Vaid, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Jaffer Kashmiri, Gulam Qadir Rah, Er Fayaz, Shakeel-ul-Rehman Tahoor Ahmad Sidiqi besides Senior APHC leaders and Pro-freedom leaders including Zaffer Akbar Bhat, Javid Ahmad Mir, Syed Salim Geelani, Syed Bashir Indrabi, Hakim Abdul Rashid along with hundreads of pro-freedom activists participated and paid rich tributes to martyred frontline pro-freedom leader.
Amid Pro-Islam and Pro-Freedom slogans, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples league Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza addressed the gathering at Martyrs graveyard and paid glowing tributes to Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz.
Waza said that Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz was a noble, pious soul who since 1968 actively played a role in the ongoing freedom struggle and on 11th of August in 2008 laid down his precious life for a noble cause while leading a sea of people on Srinagar-Muzafferabad road who were protesting against the economic blockade of Hindu fanatics as well as against the India’s illegal occupation.
He said that Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz was a strong advocate of ‘right to self determination’ and during his life time he never succumbed before the oppressor. 
He said that Kashmiri nation must not forget this brave leader who along with his family actively played a key role in the ongoing freedom movement while as after the his martyrdom the family continues to support the mission of martyrs.
Waza said that martyred leader being visionary had ever since during his life time maintained that peace and stability will continue to remain elusive till Kashmir dispute gets resolved according to UN resolutions guaranteeing ‘right to self determination’ to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that pledging to continue to the ongoing freedom movement was the best way to honor and tribute to the Kashmir martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the bright future of Kashmiri nation.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on the occasion said that Jammu Kashmir Peoples League is credited of being mother of all Pro-Freedom organization hence all those rebel pro-freedom leaders who left the party must come back and strength the party as at this juncture Kashmiri nation needs a united pro-Freedom platform. He urged rebel leaders including Shabir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Ghulam Ahmad Sopori, Farooq Rehmani and Bashir Ahmad Tota to come back and strength the party in the interests of oppressed kashmiri nation.
“We have same goal that is freedom of Kashmir from Indian Bondage so all those who parted away their ways and left the party must rejoin as the Kashmiri nation needs a united platform.” Waza said adding strengthening the Peoples league and uniting the pro-Freedom leadership is the best tribute for Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz.Besides Waza Zaffer Akber Shab and Javaid Ahmad Mir also speaks on this occasion,
