SRINAGAR, July 27, 2013:
 Jammu and Kashmir People’s League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today castigated state authorities for lashing a reign of terror among valley youths after arresting them during nocturnal night raids. Meanwhile on his directions party high level delegation headed by senior leader Shakeel-ul-Rehman visited the family of Farhan Bukhari who was martyred by Indian forces on 28th of July in 2010.
Waza said that after the Gool Ramaban massacre, Indian security forces have lashed a reign of in Kashmir by arresting hundreds of youths during nocturnal raids and have imprisoned them without any fault. Expressing solidarity with those families whose youths has been arrested from past several days waza said that it will not help Indian authorities to stop kashmirs from demanding their birthright ‘right to self determination’ . He appealed international human rights watch dogs to take a strong note of the present situation of Kashmir.
Reacting to BSF report that have fired upon protesters in ‘self defense’ Waza said it was nothing new for kashmirs as the troops involved in the killings of innocent kashmirs continue to repeat the same theory from last over 63 years and hence self defense theory is there traditional one.
“BSF killed peaceful protesters in Gool Ramban alike others massacres which the Indian armed forces did but time and again they repeated the same self defense theory. But world community knows that what a peaceful and unarmed protester can do?” He said.
He also expressed solidarity with the rape victim of Kistwar and appealed authorities to punish the village defense members involved in the case.
Meanwhile on the directions of Party Chairman, a party delegation Comprising Shakeel-ul-Rehman, Javed Ahmad, Hilal Ahmad, Molvi Javed Ahmad and Sareer Ahmad Bukhari today visited the family of Farhan Bukhari , a mass communication pass out in Kreeri Baramullah , who was martyred by Indian armed forces on 28th of July in year 2010 after arresting him. Delegation paid glowing tributes to Kashmir martyrs including Farhan and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family. They castigating authorities for implicating his father in a baseless case and demanded his early release.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza also paid glowing tributes to the martyr and expressed sympathy with the family.
