Stating that the 18 resolutions passed by United Nation from time to time since India occupied state illegally, certify Kashmir an international issue, Senior APHC leader and Jammu and Kashmir people’s League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today demanded that Kashmir must be resolved through these resolutions guaranteeing ‘right to self determination’.  
Addressing Friday congregations in Kulgam waza said that Kashmir is an internationally acknowledged conflict and its internationalization is although certified by United Nation which has passed 18 resolutions about it.
Waza said that the United Nations itself had accepted Kashmir as an international dispute and passed resolutions for its solution. “The intransigent stance of India on Kashmir is the main hurdle to resolve the long-pending dispute,” he added. He said that the lingering dispute could only be resolved through implementation of the UN resolutions and India must take concrete steps in this regard. “The people of Kashmir have never accepted the illegal Indian occupation and will continue their struggle to achieve their right to self-determination”, Waza maintained.
Waza urged India to end its policy of oppression in Kashmir and create a conducive atmosphere for implementation of resolutions of United Nation or tripartite talks aimed resolsving the dispute according to the aspirations of common Kashmiris.
Waza also appealed UN, OIC and human rights organizations including Amnesty International and Asian Watch to put pressure on India to stop human right violations and settle the Kashmir dispute without wasting more precious time.

Meanwhile a delegation Lead by Senior leaders and party activists including Ghulam Qadir Rah and Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi today visited the family of Noted Journalist Raja Mohi-u-din whose father passed away yesterday in SKIMS and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
