Waza pays tributes to Handwara Martyrs, demanded early resolution of Kashmir issue spokesman pl imtiyaz reshi.

Srinagar, January 25: Jammu and Kashmir people’s league chairman and
senior hurriyat leader Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today while paying glowing
tributes to Kashmiri martyrs especially to Handwara who were martyred
by Indian security forces on 25 of January 1990, demanded early
resolution of Kashmir for the stability and prosperity of South Asia
region.
Addressing Milad congregations in South Kashmir’s Aishmuqam area, Waza
greeted people of Eid-Milad Nabi (SAW) and urged people to follow the
path of Prophet Mohammad (SAW) for the betterment of both worlds as
well as day judgement. He said that Eid-e-Milad marks the day of
justice, peace and freedom from slavery. “At the time of Prophets
Birthday slavery got vanished and freedom so the concept of freedom
got respectively got its birth. Kashmir is being inlegally occupied by
Indian authorities, we are living lives of slavery from decades, our
voice is being curbed and cruelty is being done in this regard.” Waza
said adding Kashmiri’s are being killed just for raising the voice for
securing our birth right ‘right to self determination’.
He urged Kashmir people to remain united for the cause of Kashmir as
only unity of people as well as among the leadership representing
aspirations of Kashmiri people can get fruit full results and help in
resolving Kashmiri issue.
He also urged international community especially OIC to help Kashmiri
people in securing their birth right for which they are fighting from
last two decades and have laid unparallel scarifies. He said
maintained that the sacrifices of kashmiri people will not go in vain
and their mission will be lead to its logical conclusion.
He said that Kashmir is a political issue and needs to resolved
politically on humanitarian grounds.
