Mainstream politicians exploiting sacrifices of martyrs for personnel comforts: Waza

Jammu and Kashmir people’s league Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today castigated mainstream politicians and said that they were exploiting mission and sacrifices of martyrs for personnel comforts.
Waza in a statement said, “Since 1951 helping India in conducting sham polls and taking part in them, these mainstream politicians are exploiting the sacrifices of our martyrs who laid down their precious lives for securing ‘right to self determination’.” Adding for coloring anti-freedom movement designs of Indian Kashmiri nation will not forgive them.
He said that under a well planned strategy and anti-movement policy, India, its forces and agencies were chocking the pro-freedom leadership of Kashmiri nation, which are real representatives of the people of state Jammu and Kashmir. While as under the same policy they are trying to muzzle the ongoing freedom movement by Killing, arresting leadership and especially the youths of Kashmir.
Waza said, “Keeping pro-freedom leadership away from the people of the state by repressive and oppressive measures, India can’t sabotage the freedom movement.”
He appealed international community to help Kashmiri people on humanitarian grounds so that they can get rid from India’s oppression and suppression.
Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir people’s league delegation comprising Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Tahoor Ahmad and Jaffer Kashmiri visited the families at Ahmednagar Srinagar whose residential houses were destroyed by Indian troops during a siege and search operation and expressed sympathy with them.
They condemned the oppression of troops during the siege hours and said besides destroying property worth cores of rupees of the families; Indian troops have harassed the residents which started ill showing medical consequences.

They also paid glowing tributes to fighters who were martyred by troops during the so-called operation
