 Waza demands fair probe into molestation cases, appeals religious
scholars to play effective role

Spreading immorality designed policy of India


Srinagar, June 8, 2014

Stating that India is spreading the immorality in Kashmir, Senior All
Parties Hurriyat Conference Leader and Jammu Kashmir people’s League
chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today demanded a fair probe into the
three shameful molestation cases which took place in Kashmir during
last three days.

Mukhtar Ahmad Waza who today along with party senior leaders including
Nazir Ahmad Khan, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Jaffer Kashmiri, and Mohd
Abdullah visited the family of teenage school girl who was allegedly
molested by her teacher when she was returning from the school trip.

On the occasion, Waza expressed sympathy with the family and victim
and said that Kashmiri women folk is not safe anywhere in India and
Kashmir and said that in victimizing the women folk in Kashmir India
is spreading the immorality and is targeting prime institutions like
schools and hospitals.

“It is shocking that the institutions of two important departments
Health and Education are getting involved.” Waza said, adding
molestation case involving teachers and tainted doctors and bearucats
backed by New Delhi needs a through and fair probe by an independent
organization.

Waza said that waywardness and immorality is being spread in the
valley by New Delhi just to hold back the people of Jammu and Kashmir
from demanding right to self determination for which they have laid
down uncounted sacrifices.

He appealed religious scholars to play an effective role in education
the common masses so that New Delhi’s designs get rejected.

“Without knowing those who fell in the trap of waywardness are
actually helping the New Delhi to prolong its illegal occupation over
the state.” Waza said, demanding exemplary punishment to the doctors
involved in molestation case.
