Senior APHC Leader and Jammu Kashmir People’s League Chairman Mukhtar
Ahmad Waza today visited Phalgam and expressed sympathy and solidarity
with those families whose shops gutted in a fire incident, before a
couple of days.
Waza on the occasion suspected a conspiracy behind the inferno and
asked state puppet authorities and rulers to stop damaging properties
of poor people of Phalgam residents for benefiting and pleasing
influential people and anti-resistance movement mongers.
Since 1952, it has been remained a policy of some influential people
who are working against the ongoing freedom movement to damage the
property of poor people in Phalgam with the help of puppet authorities
and fire is being used as tool.
“See who is constructing hotels and huts in Phalgam, it is a group
anti-resistance of people who along with Indian armed forces with the
help of state and central governments are vandalizing the fragile
environment of Phalgam while as the poor residents of Phalgam are
being deprived of basic amenities and are not being allowed to
construct or renovate their houses.” Waza said, adding High court PIL
is being used to discriminate the population of Phalgam.
He said that if High court has banned constructions in Phalgam then
how can the anti-movement along with armed forces are vandalizing the
fragile environment of Phalgam by constructing hotels and installing
military base camps.
Waza said that puppet authorities were working on New Delhi’s polices
in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Under a planned strategy only those who work against ongoing freedom
movement are being benefited while as poor population is being
neglected, just to crust the freedom sentiment among them.” Waza said,
while asking Pahlgam development authority tainted officers to stop
harassing poor residents.
