Today women’s democratic forum chairperson Tanveer Fatima along with her party
volunteers held a peaceful protest demonstration at press enclave lalchowk for the shifting of Kashmir prisoners lodged in different jails in India to valley and demanded release of
Kashmiri prisoners languishing in different jails of India, speaking to media persons
Tanveer fatima said India has adopted double standard policies with Kashmir
prisoners by shifting them in jails outside kashmir. If their cases are in Kashmir then
why are they shifted to far off jails, it is a clear revengeful policy of india against kashmiri
prisoners , While demanding the release of all thepolitical prisoners she said that it is the tradition of even the cruelest of governments all over the world to release the prisoners at this
occasion but in Jammu &Kashmir this tradition has-been stopped a long time ago and the arrest spree is continued even in this holy month of Ramadan she also
demanded that the cases of44 detainees including Dr.
Muhammad Qasim, GhulamQadir Bhat, Mohammad ShafiSheryati, Mohammad Amin
Dar Banihal, MohammadAyoub Dar, Engineer Farooq,Mohammad Amin Wani,
Mohammad Ayoub Mir,Sharief-ud-Din Reasi,Mohammad Syed Bhat, PeerFayaz and Abdul WaheedNaik Banihal should be relooked on humanitarian grounds and their sentences
should be ended who have been sentenced for life infalse cases and who are indifferent jails of the state and India, she appealed the Amnesty International and other human rights organizations to use their influence in releasing the political prisoners of Kashmir so that after a long period they can also celebrate Eid with their families. ON the massacre of GazaTanveer Fatima along whither party workers raisedvoice against Israeli inhuman and barbaric acts against kids and people of
Palestine and Gaza. Leaders strongly reacted against the criminal silence of Arab leaders and superpowers of World USA, UNAND EUROPION UNION. Protesters raised anti Israel slogans and asked world community to raise the issue of Palestine and Kashmir at United Nations for their rights.
