Waza condemns use of brute force on peaceful protesters in Aharbal
“Disturbance to sensitive environment of Kashmir intolerable” Waza

Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today strongly condemned use of excessive force on peaceful protesters in Aharbal Kulgam during which several sustained injuries. Waza expressed sympathy with the injured and prayed for their early recovery.
Meanwhile while chairing meeting of party leaders and activists in Khudwani area of Kulgam district, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that under well planned strategy Ecology, Environment, Natural resources are being target to disrupt the sensitive environment of the state besides economy.
He said that the virgin places of Kashmir sourcing main component of economy must be left out of human intervention to maintain the balance of fragile and sensitive environment. He said that the human intervention at Kousarnag can cause disaster and can devoid the local populace of all three main south Kashmir districts from fresh drinking water.
Waza termed it deep conspiracy against the majority people of Kashmir. he said that giving tourism a religious colour is aimed at grabbing the lands in Kashmir so that Kashmiri Muslims are evicted from their motherland as Israel did with Palestinians.
Waza said that Indian forces are busy in grabbing our lands since decades together and now in order to give it a pace, Indian political leadership has taken the religious route.
He appealed international forums working on environment issues to take a serious note of disturbance being cause to the environment of Kashmir.
