Waza detained while leading a protest march in Islamabad,
besides waza pl leader Imtiyaz Reshi and Shakeel u rehman mannaged to reach their nearest graveyards

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza was
detained by police along with activists when he has leading a protest
march from Kadipora to Lal Chowk.
Party spokesman imtiyaz reshi condemned police action and said that armed forces on
behest of India and its state puppets politicians was resorting to
undemocratic tact’s for keeping the pro-freedom leaders for away from
common Kashmiris.
He said that a heavy cotangent of police yesterday evening cordoned
off the residence of Mukhtar Ahmad Waza at Kadipora Islam and searched
the house besides harassing the family. He said that Waza shab gave a
slip to the armed forces and managed to lead a protest demonstration
against the Indian atrocities however police detained Waza shab along
with activists and shifted them into Sherbagh Police station.
Peoples League Leader Shakeel-ul-Rehman along with several party
workers and leaders also demonstrated in Sopore. They visited the
martyr’s grave yard and paid glowing tributes to 1931, July 13
martyrs.
Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi along with party activists visited martyrs grave
yard at Soura and paid glowing tributes to them. Pro-Freedom amd Pro
Palestine slogans were also raised
Meanwhile, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza in an issued press statement paid
glowing tributes to martyrs of 1931 and said that the martyrdom of 22
innocent Kashmiris marks the beginning of ongoing Kashmir freedom
struggle. He retreated that the ongoing freedom movement will be taken
to its logical conclusion. Waza thanked common Kashmiris for observing
a complete shutdown and said those who caged common Kashmiris with the
help of Indian armed forces are puppets and traitors of Kashmiri
nation.
