Waza visited Kulgam, asked activists to strength party roots
Srinagar, July 02: Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on Wednesday visited several areas of Kulgam district and addressed meetings of party activists including in Brazloo and Qimoh areas.
Accompanied by party senior leaders including Nazir Ahmad Khan, Abdul Aziz Zimni, Ahmad-ul-lah and others, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza addressed meetings conveyed by the district wing of the party.
Addressing the meetings, Waza paid glowing tributes to martyrs and said that mission of martyrs will be accomplished despite all odds.
He urged party workers and activists to work hard and strength the party at gross root levels. He said that party and its leadership has laid down sacrifices for the ongoing movement and it will continue its fight for securing the goal-right to self determination braving the odds and Indian military oppression and suppression. He said that anti-freedom movement elements tried hard to defame peoples league but time proved them wrong and their anti-party strategies stand exposed.
Waza said that sacrifices of our leaders including of S.Hamid Wani, Shaheed-e-Azemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz, Gulam Ahmad Bulla and of others will not be allowed to go waste. He briefed the party workers and activist about the party principal and goals.
He urged workers to play its role in streaming the socaity and take a lead in fighting against the social evils including drug addiction and immorality. Waza said that drug addiction and immorality free society will be more helpful for the ongoing freedom movement.
